Lee Clark set to be appointed, Les Rust major player in making it happen, he's close to Raj.... Has Raj really gone?

Where d'you get the idea Lee Rust is still involved at Pools? Honest question. I can see plenty of rumours flying around about Clarkie but nothing about Rust.

We will never know.
But as it stands today from 1st of January outside the boardroom I am seeing no improvements on how the club is run whatsoever.

I mean what has Smithy got that previousl failed takeover people got.

Just maybe the takeover is saddled with longish term payments and hes been willing to take that on.


Debt will produce the usual standard team.
Non debts will produce a very recognisable improvement.

In a roundabout way the team in August will have a long term bearing in returning to the EFL.

Steve Evans has just got a two year contract at Bristol Rovers after he won eight on the bounce at the end of the season. Seems a different man after he lost six and a half stone. It looked as if they also played decent football.

true. fans do not like him for his touchline antics if he is the opposition dug out. listening to him in post match interviews he comes over as a completely different person. rather someone like him who ahows passion on the bench that someone who looks as bored as the fans do.

you can easily work for another owner after the previous one has lefr. the problem to be discussed is what type of job has he done for both.
