The Poolie Bunker

Lee Clark set to be appointed, Les Rust major player in making it happen, he's close to Raj.... Has Raj really gone?

Where d'you get the idea Lee Rust is still involved at Pools? Honest question. I can see plenty of rumours flying around about Clarkie but nothing about Rust.

"Lee Rust still heavily involved and advising Landon Smith it would appear. People will have their own opinions on that itself."

We will never know.
But as it stands today from 1st of January outside the boardroom I am seeing no improvements on how the club is run whatsoever.

I mean what has Smithy got that previousl failed takeover people got.

Just maybe the takeover is saddled with longish term payments and hes been willing to take that on.

Debt will produce the usual standard team.
Non debts will produce a very recognisable improvement.

In a roundabout way the team in August will have a long term bearing in returning to the EFL.

In response to the thread title- Nothing, Zero, Zilch, in fact absolutely Fuck All is happening!

Rusty Lee has clearly put a load of names in a tombola and is drawing them out one at a time.

This wall of silence is becoming an absolute piss take.

I'll be fuming if it's Lee Clark or the now lesser mentioned Cattermole. Just desperately clutching at straws.
How about the equally odious Steve Evans?
Given how many managers we've been through in recent years, they must still have details on file of some shit still floating about, that we haven't yet tried!?

Rusty Lee, needs to be OUT of the club ASAP, the man is a charlatan

Steve Evans has just got a two year contract at Bristol Rovers after he won eight on the bounce at the end of the season. Seems a different man after he lost six and a half stone. It looked as if they also played decent football.

Bizarre. What's he paying Bromby for if he's still giving house room to Raj's cling-ons? You'd image Jeff Stelling would have a thing or two to say about Raj's charmed circle.

Steve Evans always gets results.

Graham Lee said in an interview Rust should never be allowed to be near a football club.

true. fans do not like him for his touchline antics if he is the opposition dug out. listening to him in post match interviews he comes over as a completely different person. rather someone like him who ahows passion on the bench that someone who looks as bored as the fans do.

you can easily work for another owner after the previous one has lefr. the problem to be discussed is what type of job has he done for both.

Gone but don't rule out getting payed in installments or a % of FA Cup money

II ask again to Radio Tees can you re-confirm it was a Clean Takeover.
They do read SM.

Seems strange to buy a club outright then get it to 22nd in super QuickTime.

I doubt conspiracy theories are needed. Maybe Lee Rust is just a world-class bullshitter who convinced the new owner he is worth listening to?

Whatever our opinions we are were we are.
I'd say Rusty isent why we 22nd.

It's a write off season and Lessons must be learnt from the big man.

We now live in a Bullshitter world we're people can make money from it rather than doing hard physical work.

If you get mugged once Learn from it.
If you get mugged twice then you are the mug.

Well that's my philosophy
