I missed the first 30 minutes as I was stuck in traffic so relied on Pools Player for commentary. When I got in I put Sky Sports on. They were very excited about Leyton Orients possession percentages, and we were roundly dismissed at half time.
Come full time the talk of possession was long gone and the focus was on our tenacity and the sheer brilliance of the third goal. An almost perfect TV performance, soaked up pressure, grew in stature, scored goals when opportunity knocked.
Proud as punch from 350 miles away. And Pompey fluffed their lines at home again, well done Pools.
