Wine's great, red and white. :sweeeet:

Beer's great too, long as its the right type. :sweeeet:

Lagers great on a sunny day outside. :sweeeet:

Gin and vodka are great, even rums pretty good. :sweeeet:

Champagne is great - when I get the chance to drink it. :sweeeet:

Whisky is great. :sweeeet:

Most of Tescos half price offers though are just a con. As an example, bought a couple of bottle of Spanish Tempranillo (grape variety) red wines last week for 3.99 a bottle, not a bad wine, quite pleasant, but if I had been paying the so called normal price of 7.99 for them i would have been very pissed off. It would never have been sold at that price anywhere, no one with half a brain would have paid that much for it. Tescos obviously work in league with serial half prices conmen like the recently mentioned furniture retailers DFS.

i wouldnt pay 3.99 for a tempranillo - horridly arrid

however, this french number is a classy bordeaux and is reasonable at even £11 a bottle.

A fiver a bottle is usually my ceiling Salty, unless it's a special occasion, then I might just stretch it too 6 quid.
