cheaper to book it all yourself, everyone else charges you a fortune. just tell her it cost you twice as much and pocket the difference

http://www.gnertickets.co.uk for the trains
http://www.seetickets.com for the show tickets
http://www.premiertravelinn.com for the hotels

dont know any hotels but if you are seeing a show, go and see Spamalot, and not some poncy west end shite.

our lass is a grease-dirty dancing addict so i will have to watch either of these

Not really, you could walk her to the front of the theatre, once she has gone in nip to the pub for a few beers then just be at the front door waiting for her when it has finished

Better still take the lass to learn a few twirls with your good self.

Salsa classes are available not too far from you.

There's a little travel agent in Uptons/Whitegates/Fine Fare or whatever it is called now, in the corner of Middleton Grange. They frequently have cheap offers on for London. ie. £99 for train, show and hotel.
