Caterers buy 'pre-cooked' baked taties. They batter 'em with sonic waves to break them down and then you only have to warm them up. These are the ones that taste like cardboard and have the consistency of cotton wool. The ones that they have in the oven in foil all night are the ones that taste like a baked tatie and should be lathered with a quality proprietary brand of baked beans and grated mature cheddar and a cheeky sprig of parsley.

It brings a certain insoucience to your spud Timmy, perched as it does on your steaming victuals.

But on no account eat it as it tastes like dung.
