Wtf is Beech doing to earn his salary if there’s no recruitment going on ? Surely it’s a part-time position at a club like ours ?
Fair enough, in the close season he would be busy but during the season ?
We are not a buying and selling club. Basically, once a year we have an influx of players in the summer to replace the deadwood we get rid of.
Beech will be on around £50k plus expenses I reckon and for most of the season he’s twiddling his thumbs.

You'll be saying next that with 4 coaches on the payroll we don't need a Head of Performance and a Head of Analysis. Tsk Tsk. All the Premier League clubs have them

I'm sure I saw him serving hotdogs under the Millhouse stand last home game, asked if I wanted extra onions which was nice. Said he'd been watching a game during the week where you got a napkin and a selection of red and brown sauce and mustard which he was thinking of bringing in on a short term contract.

What have the Head of Performance and the Head of Analysis actually brought to Pools opening games of the season, no more than the fans standing on the terracing, they know what the performances have been like and what does analysing mean, we all know where the problems lie with out a university graduate telling us.

Hear, hear there are several hangers-on stealing a wage at Pools both on and off the pitch. I don't think we need to have a mass cull, just around 12 individuals in both areas who have proved their worthlessness. I don't believe that there is nothing left in the kitty for new signings - unless I have missed something that was one of Lee Clark's inspiring statements on virtually the evening of his miserable tenure. If true, we should be made aware that the statement originated from the abject Bromby & Partner failures or Landon Smith himself - given that was in the US at that time. Not that I'm anticipating a response anytime sooner or later. Whoever would have thought a few short months back that the new regime would surpass Raj and his cohorts in shrouding the actual status of the club.

Again is it Smiths naivety for handing the reins over to Bromby who convinced him little old Pools requires the analysts etc. Pools now have 2 ‘redundant’ coaches, Clayton is on a 2 year contract not sure about Liddle at least Clark ‘walked’ so he wasn’t due and compo.

We are now critically top heavy …. and top heavy things capsize.when the going gets rough.
Wages which could be spent on players are essential when needed are financing a back room indulgence that has patently not worked.

I wonder how Beech passes the time of day, Smith should ask him what he has accomplished up until now and ask for a detailed report of how he spends his time on behalf of HUFC.

Maybe they could organise pottery classes or a knitting circle to fill the days for those who are basically redundant…?

instead of carrying folders about all they need to do is carry a few balls in a net around the place and nobody would question them.

What purpose are these guys with the laptops actually serving, seems like a lot of bollocks to me....."Er player A has covered 4.5 miles in that half gaffer".... running around like a headless chicken no doubt, "completed pass rate 86.3% gaffer" except 15% was to the opposition, fluid intake 250mils..... been through a crate of lucozade before the final whistle no doubt. Or in our case Player B passed it backwards 67% gaffer..."53 passes before the cross came in but unfortunately our centre forwards had fallen asleep waiting gaffer, just ask Lidds n Clayt's if you need confirmation..... honestly I wasn't playing candy crush Boss".

The in thing now in Football is to copy off the premier league which was infiltrated by foreign managers.

At Pools in division 5.
We need to prioritise the Manager and Assistant to get the best out of our players

Fucken cranks with lap tops.
They can all fuck off for me waste of wages.

It's the side of a football pitch.
Not an office ffs.

No wonder the game has lost its entertainment value.
To many Muppets interfering.

problem is we have entered an emporers new clothes situation where the pundits say something or somebody is brilliant and everyone falls for it. things will eventually change to be replaced by more lap top bullshit. some clubs actually employ a dietician full time for the needs of there players at all age levels. wonder if these fancy diets are a help in all these injuries that come up now.

Beech should now be gone as Wild now quite right seems to be bringing in the players he wants and can trust. Pols should dump him after the way he disrespected the club when leaving as a player.

In an interview the other day, Pete Wild was talking about the players coming in and said he was recruiting them. I might be reading too much into it, but it's possible he's been asked to do that or it's part of him coming on board that he's allowed to .

Wild says in the BBC Radio Tees interview that he's been the one sorting out the players he wants. If all Beech is doing now is signing off on deals it's a massive waste of a wage. Think it's a case of 'watch this space' for Mr. Beech.
