We now down to 22nd and 2 pts behind Tamworth.

I still reckon a home banker though.

Anything less than a win will be disaster imho.

However Tamworth's 19 for and 28 against suggests that there will be a good total of goals so our goal-shy forwards will need to get into the action.

Fingers crossed for a 3-2 win.

I see they beat Sutton 2-0 this evening so that will boost their morale. No easy games in this league so who knows what happes on Saturday.

This run has to end.
That’s not speculation, that’s cold hard facts.

Didn’t think we’d be at a 6 pointer at this stage of the season but that’s where we’re at.
Only a win will do.

one ray of hope is not many teams have been relegated with only 3 wins all season. some might be happy for us just not to lose but 2 months back this game would have been thought a home banker. then we saw lee clark and what his team were all about.

With the run of fixtures Pools have coming up this month the home game against Tamworth looks the 'easiest' of the lot. Football doesn't always work like that and a new manager could get the team firing again fairly quickly.

Hope it's Pete Wild, but whoever it is Pools fans can't afford the luxury of turning on him if it takes a while for results to improve.

It would be a good idea to lay off criticism of the new owner too, even if he leaves Bromby, Beech and the rest in place for the time being. We fans all know what we'd like to see happen if only we were in charge, but we're not!

lets say we have been quick to welcome LS as the new messiah but like anyone he should receive criticism if its really needed. we were quick enough to give RS some stick where he got the blame for everything even the tide going out.

Fair reasonable view Accy.
IWe can only react to the results.
LS can have the same as previous from me a 2 year spell 730 days to stamp his Authority.

See we're we are then.
League 2 Obviously

We weren't 'quick' to criticise Raj at all. He saved Pools from going under by taking over in summer 2018. He was on the pitch with Dave Challinor and the players in Cardiff 3 years later, getting cheered to the rafters by the Poolies who were there - at that point he was not only the saviour of the club, we were back to the Football League.

His standing with the fans only went south after Challinor left in acrimonious circumstances at the back end of 2021.

Like most others, I criticised Fevs. However if survival looks to be the name of the game this season we could do a lot worse than getting him back. Lose to Tamworth and i would eat humble pie and ring him as the threat of NLN is too much to contemplate.

Pools to win is hovering around the 11/8 on Betfair.
Like the Harrogate odds, could prove to be a value bet if we have the new manager bounce!

Wind forecast to drop.
New attitudes.
I'm the most confident I've ever been about a banker win.

Getting a proper new manager in should put an extra 1,000 on the real gate. Hope springs eternal.

Will we have more in our dugout than the number of fans Tamworth bring?

but will they be in the dugout or watching on from the stands as many seam to do in there first game at the club especially late in the week. or has this been on the cards even before clark resigned. there will certainly be extra coming through the gates expecting the players to put a real big effort in. if i did not want to jinx thigs i,d forecast a pools win.

OK I'm convinced and wìll have a punt on a home win. My guess is 3-2 to Pools.

Pete Wild has said he'll be in the dugout. He took yesterday's training session.

A positive. I wonder if he chased Clayton and Lidds or did they play some part?

this could turn out to be the hardest task pete wild has ever had in his career. not a bad game if you like teams giving posession away and watching throw ins.

actually it would have been more surprising of we had seen the net bulge from the pen. the only saving grace so far is that the team is miles from what it could be if nobody was injured.

Love watching hoof ball. Love watching Hunter pass backwards. Love watching Sheron bulldozer and smash balls in the air. Love watching a complete lack of quality in every area of the pitch. Love seeing us create absolutely nowt game after game. It’s just utterly depressing football to watch this.

Different management same pathetic rubbish due to the same pathetic players in midfield.

Easiest 3pts in the league.

You thought the football couldn’t get worse but this team couldn’t beat a team of one legged players. For those of you who didn’t watch the match be grateful . Looking forward to the derbys next year against Darlo if they stay up. Pools bereft of ideas all over the pitch . The whole squad should be chased . Your disgrace Pools . Not blaming the new boss but if we can’t beat Tamworth who can we beat? And there a still folks on here saying we going to get promotion and score goals . This team couldn’t hit a barn door from 6 inches . Now optimists pick what you can from that .

Landon should never have brought those fools in to run Pools.
But how is Wild going to turn things round unless we rip up contracts and he is allowed to bring in his own players.
I doubt that will happen.
Those players representing Pools today don't deserve to be paid!

Just hope Wild gives them a roasting . I think it’s the worst Pools team I have seen. Makes Featherstone look like the messiah . Just glad we have a new manager . Focus is to now just avoid relegation . Nothing else

Sucker!!!!

you mean the same fans who were suckered to believe the new signings were going to make the difference to get the minimum of 2 league places higher to get into the play offs. we actually looked more like scoring with reid or oliver up front. at least we got a laugh out of fondop. what we have now is players with the same ability but think they are good. things are so bad when charman comes on and looks class.

just hope we have been given money for recruitment. if LS knows a single thing about football he will know that his money has been wasted.

If we cannot get rid of contracted players the coaches must go. They must be responsible for the HUFC habit of turning successfull players at other clubs into no hopers!

Unable to score at home against a defence that has let in 28 goals in their previous 11 games is relegation form.
Wild will do well to keep us in the NL with this squad.

That was strange because after we beat Morecambe in February we were only 3 pts behind 7th.
The cheap sensible thing to do was back Fevs with 3 good signings then.
No Transfer Window.

Why not?!!
