Steady on Boyo. Bit early to be writing our Owen off as 'the only Darren Anderton in the village.'

He is injured, should be available in a couple of weeks.

Ok. Do we know owt else? For example was he injured when he signed or did he get hurt in training? What is the nature of the injury? For example does he have some kind of long term problem that has to be managed rather than cured? Maybe it is nowt to worry about although missing the whole pre season will leave him needing to catch up.

No one has been employed to update the OS so the only info available is Clarks last post match interview where he said he will be available in several weeks, others say a couple ?

He was doing a considerable amount of timed running with the physio timing him on Tuesday night @ Hebburn, so he may not be too far away.

In Clarks post match Grimsby interview he said Hampson won’t be fit for the start of the season due to an issue/injury he had last season and it has to be treated with caution if not he could be out for months, does that mean Pools signed an injured player ?

in the short term they have though from your own words. its hardly career defining though for him if he foe miss a couple of weks at the start. problem will be if a couple of weeks extend to a couple of months which has been the case in the past.

Should have a time line on the injury as it did not happen at Pools, and if not going to play get rid.

in a way its just the same as a player who picks up an injury in pre season or an early friendly game who misses the start of the season. be a shock if most clubs have not a player like that. we usually have more than one.

According to Clark Hampson and Charman are nowhere near a return the other day, has Hampson ever kicked a ball in earnest for Pools ?

but a couple of weeks back they were close to a return so either that was incorrect or they have both suffered a setback. we must be the only team where players have setbacks and never return earlier than expected. what next clark using there inavailability as some get out of jail clause to keep his job.

If we had an up and running properly official site we might just be au fait with what is going on. The Physio has done some brilliant communicative interviews, which are always interesting, giving the lowdown on injuries and the treatment processes. Now we get......nothing.
