It might have escaped your attention Jamie but there is a massive sporting event happening right now and guess what - Scotland is awash with the St Andrews cross flags, but the English flag is offensive?? There's loads of houses and cars adorned with the English flag and guess what they're not all racists.

I don't know what Jamie's problem is with the flags, a few busybodies took offence, nothing else...

How many would remain loyal to the flag if a set of call up papers dropped through the door to defend the flag ?

How did you cope with all the bunting on Silver Jubilee Day ?..Did you hide behind the curtains watching the street parties?

In 1977, I was around 24/25 years old partying it up to much to even notice the Silver Jubilee drinking Crown Ale in the Park Hotel. How many of the kids nowadays take any notice what’s ongoing in the U.K. although their elders can’t understand why pensioners should be guaranteed an annual rise no matter what.

Lipton, what’s that ?

When did you go to Thailand…? 1834…?
You sound like some Victorian missionary who’s never returned home……what cobblers.

Have you ever been to Thailand Snowy, where do you get your info from to make a statement about the fake brides, you have been watching YouTube vlogs or reading some daily rag, yes there are loads of stories of fake brides but the number of genuine relationships outnumber them.

So Farage is on his way out, you doubt he'll ever become PM, we've got to wonder why you're so fixated on the man then? I think Snowy's right he's living in your brain and won't move out.

We need a government dedicated to making money, not dedicated to spending it.
I would happily pay more tax provided the extra raised was ring fenced for defence and the NHS, not put in a big pot to pay for handouts and benefits.
I have voted Labour for over sixty years but Reform will definitely get my next X.

I can see an argument for more money for defence but imo the NHS is a money pit that needs a root and branches review and restructure to get more patients treated for our money rather than just throwing more and more cash at a broken institution.
Didn't Hartlepool once have 5 hospitals? Progress means that even though the population has grown massively in the last 35 years or so there's now 1(?) offering limited services.

Long way to go to the next G.E. your talking Council elections they don’t reflect the votes in G.E.s as there is usually a lower turnout out for council elections.
Out of the 5 elections for MPs Reform have only won one.

suffering from the first past the post system we have in this country. where did they come in the total of votes cast in the five and only 9,000 votes worse off in makerfeld with a poor candidate and multiple reasons to vote for burnham and not just labour.

Let’s hope the newly elected Reform councillors hang about longer than their counterparts, nearly 80 have resigned, been sacked, suspended or jumped ship since the last local elections.

Apologies for repeating myself but why would a party call for a G.E. when they have a 400 majority in Parliament and why should they ? It would be political suicide and probably end up with a hung Parliament, it would be interesting to know how Reform would vet 650 candidates, judging by some of the poor choices they have made recently.
Will Zia Yusuf be allowed to stand although he was not barred from standing as an MP., he applied to be a candidate for Reform UK in recent by-elections but failed to secure the nomination. Why, he is a prominent member of Reform ?

There maybe a glimmer of hope.
News of Burnham wanting to raise the £12570 tax threshold. To benefit workers and oaps state pension.

And changing c tax to land levy tax which would benefit 83%of households in Hartlepool.

What's that saying if it sounds to good to be true it ain't happening.

Believe it when it happens……but such( ‘distractions’ are the way of all politicians….the end product is something else.
Burnham is the last desperate throw of the dice, he never figured in his time under Blair or Brown and seems to be the only knife left in the box.
Why does his eyebrows make him look like a Thunderbird puppet…??

Hollow words from a man with no mandate. Starmer promised all things to all men, noticed nothing in his speech about the boats.

On the news that 83 migrant families are moving into a new build estate were the homes are worth £250000.

,We must be the most bizarrely run country in the world.
Like I keep saying we beyond repair now.

You could blame the muppet voters but it's all rigged to Fcuk anyway.

Be Xtra vigilant when walking the streets.
There's a lot more shit on the way.
