A newly-elected Reform Kirklees councillor has admitted that she doesn’t know what she is voting for and is unsure about standing orders. Don’t you think she should have been looking into the functions of a councillor before standing, are these the calibre of people who might one day be standing as an MP ?

Jamie, you do realise that your 1st paragraph applies 100% to this Labour government, U turn after U turn, they were cutting benefits to pay for services then they weren't - then they cut some anyway without any manifesto mandate, and they're the multimillionaires running the original party of the people.
Have you finally got it now??

you can add having the highest vat paid in the hospitality industry and the highest minimum wage in europe for youngsters to our problems. we were all paid crap when we left school but there were jobs to go to. no point apart from the lucky ones who get work having a high rate of pay for school leavers.

Reform want overtime to be tax free.

But not many firms operate that system anymore.

Energy bills forecast to rise 13% then an Xtra £75 to pay for the users who refuse to pay.

What a fucked up government we have.

Jamie don't reply Pal

Don’t reply, what happened to freedom speech, I have to reply to put my side of the argument. As usual so ill informed KPG, I think you were singing Reforms policy of no tax before £20000 but has since been deemed unfundable. The overtime one is the same, Reform say they will cut benefits to pay for it, what benefits, they darn’t as it would a vote loser. Reform are running out of ideas now, first it was immigration which has now been reduced dramatically so they can’t bleat on about that anymore.
Just to remind yourgovernments have very say over energy markets as they are controlled by world markets. If you are looking for some one to blame look no further than your mate Trump with his world economic wrecking war against Iran but at the same standing by and watching Ukraine getting bombed the hell out of every day.

What's all the other world's countrys governments doing correct then.

As we have the highest energy bills in the world.

I tell ya what they do they don't donate abroad all the time and pay out massive lazy fuckas benefits.

Reform are wanting to crack down on this shit.

Only the crank minded like you would have a problem with that though.

You Luv been unique and have zero respect for other bunkerites opinions.
It's probably why you had a previous ban which won't be the last.

As for the Thai inflation.
I'd take the word of the up to date You Tube videos than your fantasy world that it ain't happening.

Well enjoy yourself dissecting anutha post.

We really do make your day 6000 miles away in the real world.

Take it easy pal.

Definitely taking it easy, a bit hot though, just having a beer in the shade, £1.50 a pint, I think I hit a raw nerve have I, what is the Thai inflation rate as you appear to know a thing or two about it. Difference is here with low prices you never notice services/goods going up in price and as I said the government control utilities and fuel prices. The petrol and diesel prices have just been reduced, petrol a £1 a litre, the U.K. government have no control over utilities or fuel prices apart from reducing VAT but then the shortfall would have to made up from increasing other taxes.
As far as foreign aid is concerned Labour has cut it to increase the defence budget, we are about 5th in the list about donations to world aid, why shouldn’t we, we are the 6th richest country in the world.

All I will say is remember to renew your Reform membership and then see what a leader who pockets millions and doesn’t declare it until found out. Farage days are numbered, there is now infighting in Reform, only 6 of them but they can’t agree with one and other, oh you won’t see that on GB News though. In fact when did you last see Farage do a one on one interview, Reforms candidate for Makerfield hasn’t done one either, he would get ripped to shreds over his background.

Reducing VAT temporarily on fuel wouldn't create a shortfall though would it, it would just reduce the windfall extra raised through this Iranian conflict. Other countries have done it, off the top of my head Australia, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, or Italy among them. Simple economics, maybe there's a vlog on YouTube which will educate those that don't see the bleeding obvious?

Dear me get the calculator out, of course regret would be a shortfall, you would be the first one to bleat on if they increased taxes elsewhere.

So if petrol goes up the VAT take doesn't? No calculator needed, I've just tested my 9 year old grandson on the sums and he's got a better grasp than you.
VAT receipts from fuel sales are through the roof and much higher than budgeted for. Is it too much to expect a Socialist government to give a bit back and ease the cost of living crisis?

Worst thing we ever did was amalgamate with the plumbers then appoint Frank Chappell as the leader of it. Correct me if I am wrong but after Chappell was appointed he introduced the rule where the officials were elected not by the members though, I remember going to a few meetings protesting against the rule although it went through. He was granted a life peerage by Thatcher, for me that shows where his loyalties lay.

PTID I am aware about VAT, I did mention before whilst the government had no control over the base price of fuel they did on VAT, read my posts before slagging me off.

They did not report Reform to the ECHR, it was EHRC a different organisation, have you actually read up why they reported Reform, it won’t be on KGB News or the right wing MSM, its numerous complaints not just one, citing "overwhelming evidence" of Islamophobic comments made by Reform politicians, including Nigel Farage and Lee Anderson. short vlog what the complaints are, 6 minutes long so shouldn’t take to much of your time.

having an extream or irrational fear of something means you are phobic on a subject. many people who get that islamophobia label on them have real concerns that many of us have. its not a full time job they have in spending hours altering the facts on islam to suit there ends. yet again words used to make people sound worse than they are by the left.

There wouldn't be a shortfall at all, there'd be a reduced windfall, they'd still get a surplus on what they budgeted for. It's simple maths.
If I get £10 per week but a change in circumstances means it goes up to £10.20 but I then give 10p back there's no shortfall is there?
Labour are quite keen on taking other people's money when they have a windfall, but they not shy in raking it in themselves are they?

I can’t stop laughing, a snake oil millionaire is there for hard working British people, how do you work that out. He and his other Reform MPs refuse to do one on one interviews, why ? The hard working people who need benefits to top their wages up, yeh wait till he stops that. He has yet to say what benefits he is going to cut, he darn’t as would be a massive vote loser.
Nigel Farage is now linked to an Iranian company through Reform UK donors and his attendance at the World Economic Forum in Davos. His party received £200,000 from an interior design firm whose client is the Ghandehari family, who are linked to Iranian businesses ?

Coming on here fills the wasted gaps of my day, which is a sight busier retired than working … but doing what I want to do….. you must get yourself an hobby or interest, something fulfilling …try it.

Any one forgot to mention this, good old Reform.
Sarah Pochin, the Reform UK MP for Runcorn and Helsby, posted a video on social media celebrating the news that she helped a 76-year-old pensioner secure an adapted two-bedroom bungalow. However, the video was later deleted after it was revealed the constituent was Ethel McGill, an amateur actress notorious for a £740,000 benefit fraud scheme.
The Claim: In the deleted video, Ethel McGill stated that "within two days" of speaking with Reform UK, she was "getting the help I needed" regarding her and her son's housing.
The Response: Ms Pochin captioned the post, "Helping people like Ethel is why I love my job.
The Backlash: McGill is a well-known figure who made headlines in 2019 when she was jailed for being what a judge called "Britain's biggest benefits cheat". The 2019 case involved swindling £740,000 through multiple fraudulent claims, including faking dementia and claiming her deceased father’s pension.

The 2019 case involved swindling £740,000 through multiple fraudulent claims, including faking dementia and claiming her deceased father’s pension.

she sounds like a big supporter of the labour party then. her only crime for the lefties was getting caught. not someone to get involved with reform.

So an MP doing a good turn for her constituent is a crime is it? Maybe a few more MPs should try it eh instead of just being Party bots.
There's absolutely nothing to say that the MP did anything wrong apart from being taken in by her constituent.
Yet you'll defend Starmer and his cabinet of liars, cheats, fraudsters, and free-loaders. Unbelievable.

Let's not forget Starmer appointed a close friend of a convicted paedophile and sex trafficker to the US Ambassador role even though he was warned off about his dubious Chinese and Russian connections. Or did that one pass you by?

Certainly was a good actress faked dementia, utilized a wheelchair, and persuaded an associate to lie in bed to impersonate her dead father during welfare checks.

If it was an MP from any other party it would have been the headlines on the right wing MSM.

Being the one of the largest benefits fraudster ever something Reform said they were going to crack down on but got caught out, didn’t Pochin staff do any background checks. As I said an MO from any other party and would have made the headlines in the right wing MSM.

As usual you turn my reply on its head, my reply was about Pochin nothing to do with Starmer, of course it was about your beloved Reform Party, have you looked into the background of their candidate for Makerfield, strange how he has never done one on one interviews. Anyway I hope you are keeping up with your annual contributions, Reform need it to pay for Farage helicopter flights, oh forgot the fella in Thailand is providing it free of charge, like Farage forgot to mention the 5 million. One minute he says it was for security the next it was a reward for all his years in politics no comment from you about that PTID or the other monies received from him or the lie Farage told about buying his £1.4 million house from the money he received from Celebrity show when in the company accounts show it wasn’t, one lie after another from Farage allegedly.

You defended Starmer right from day one, look back at your own posts when firstly you said give him time, they've only been in office for a short time, etc etc
I'm not a Reform supporter, I didn't vote at the last GE because I had no faith in any of the candidates in my constituency (the incumbent MP was parachuted away into a safer seat prior to the vote) as things stand they're a disruptor and nothing else. They're not driving the country into the ground, the government are. They've got 6 MPs FFS!!!
What has Farage been found guilty of doing exactly?

do anybody check on the postal votes that get handed out and block voting decided by some leader that must also be illegal. as usual seeing its only the loved ones involved there is nothing to see here.
