Pretty much the same as Lame Duck Starmer then, all talk and nothing to back it up. You do realise Labour are the government at the moment, they won a GE nearly 2 years ago on a manifesto of empty promises, has the news not reached Siam yet?

at least reform realise there are big problems that need solving. doubt labour do with there DEI and how good all immigration has boosted our lives.

So how do Reform plan on solving the problems, if it’s anything like the Reform led councils who promised to either cut or freeze Council Tax on their leaflets then didn’t, all political parties make all sorts of promises to get elected then renege on them once elected. Reform keep saying they are going to cut benefits but never said what ones as yet, they dare not as they could lose grass roots votes, like turkeys voting for Christmas.

And we return to the same old point, Labour are absolutely shit scared of Reform and to a lesser extent the Greens due to their own shortfalls, incompetence, broken promises, usual tax and spend, anti-business policies etc.
Reform have gained the popularity they have because the Tory's and now Labour have done so poorly not because Reform have new ground-breaking policies or even obviously competent people.
Labour have in 2 years gone from a huge majority to being despised by most of the population and that's not Farage or Reforms doing.

Picking up the pieces from the previous leaders ,councils. How many times did you repeat yourself when Labour came into power,Jamie..14 years blah blah blah..

Even genuine benefit seekers have a beef with those cheating the system..Like all them illegal repeat offenders, the ones appearing in Crown courts all over the country, the ones you thought would be useful working for the NHS,Jamie..

just a copy of the last tory government though. thats 2 on the trot dispised quickly after gaining power. there is usually some dislike of a sitting party but never like these last two.

Absolutely, it used to be one or the other of the main party's but now everyone is fed up with them both. If the Lib Dems had anything about them they'd be a shoe in for the next GE but they don't and have become an irrelevance under the joker in charge. Farage has done a decent job of selling Reform as a difference to the main 2 party's and people are so desperate for change they'll mop up at these local elections and probably be part of the next government.

Reform initially gained popularity by saying they would stop immigration but as yet like the other parties haven’t come with a solution.
‘Reform have new ground-breaking policies or even obviously competent people.’
Can you name what the groundbreaking policies are and how they are going to be funded, they have 3 ex Tory members one an MP who has been a member of Labour and Conservatives. Farage has been gifted £5 million pounds and Reform £9 million from some who doesn’t even live in the U.K.
For the last two decades he has lived and worked in Thailand, where he goes by the name Chakrit Sakunkrit, shows how British he is. Ask yourself why he is doing it, he lives abroad and probably donates nought in taxes. Finally why do working class people want to vote for millionaires as they certainly won’t favour them, just another brand of the conservatives.

Have you lost your grasp of the English language, where have I said they have groundbreaking new policies or even competent people.
To make it simple for you, Reform don't need to have great policies or people because Labour are so shit, Labour lied through their teeth and got elected because the Conservatives were shit. Reform are doing just fine because Labour and the Conservatives have been shit.
As for voting for millionaires, you do realise that category includes Starmer and most of his cabinet, plus Corbyn, Brown and Blair?

Yep it's a career step for many, how many have higher media profiles now than they ever had political profiles.
I think Jamie must picture Starmer in a flat cap, roll up fag in his mouth, constantly berating employers and the landed gentry.

They become millionaires after leaving parliament not whilst serving as an MP.

Why would I think that, the problem is politicians need to realise the average working class person does not wear a flat cap or smoke rollies.

Yet Starmer is a millionaire and serves as an MP as is Corbyn. Starmer even has the brass neck to claim he's working class and understands what our concerns and issues are.

I copied and pasted the quote about Reform, some body quoted it ?
Corbyn, Brown and Blair and Kinnock only became millionaires after leaving office, name me the millionaires in the current cabinet.
Reform UK is heavily backed by a small number of millionaires and billionaires, with approximately 75% of its donations since 2019 coming from three key individuals: Christopher Harborne, Jeremy Hosking, and Richard Tice, of course Farage is a millionaire. Who do think they are going to ‘look after’ if they get elected ?

Starmer, Milliband, Lammy, Cooper, Streeting all cabinet millionaires. Rayner another Champagne Socialist, rules are for the plebs.
And Corbyn was a millionaire when he was Labour leader.

When they became a millionaire is neither here nor there…they became millionaires….a bit like saying so and so wasn’t a murderer until he shot and killed someone……as long as you do it or become it it ends up that way.

Starmer appears to think that by tediously repeating he’s working class at the drop of a hat, makes it real.

If it was such a big issue why wasn’t it on the front pages of all the right wing newspapers and a special documentary on GB News ?
At the same time the HOP must be only place of work where you can drink alcohol and at reduced prices.

One of the very few times, when Question Time was broadcast from Clacton he turned down the invitation to appear on the panel using the excuse he was campaigning in Sunderland.

Unfortunately would be unelectable as the PM due to her working class background and her earlier life, I am sure the MSM would have a field day looking further into her background. I can’t see the Chelsea tractor brigade favouring her more so with her strong working class Lancashire accent.

She would be the biggest disaster in recent history as PM. Ask any business owner let alone the general population.
The only credible successor to Starmer is Burnham who on the face of it has done a decent job as Mayor of Manchester. He'll be standing in a by election safe seat soon ready to take over.

you would think out of all the mp,s the labour party has it would not be hard to find a new leader. starmer himself seemed to come from nowhere to lead the party as he was not exactly a household name to me.

It seems to me that there's very few politicians from any party who have any nous, foresight, or even insight into the state of the country and how to improve things, apart from improving things for themselves.
I dare say we could be in for a winter of discontent if Ang gets in.
