Southend didn't turn up. Huffed and puffed all night. So that's Southend with us again next season. Got to admire what Scunny have achieved in last two seasons, tough game coming up though. Wish them well.

At least Kettering Poolie can get one over on his wife and the outlaws, listening to it on the usual very biased BBC Essex even they said Southend never turned up and were well beaten by the better side. I hope Rochdale win the play offs after getting so many points in the regular season. I feel that would add more strength to the 3up- 3down campaign.

think rochdale missing out would help the 3 up campaign more. no point having that if the top 2 who are miles ahead on points get promoted.

gates are only one part of the revenue league clubs get. its the free money from sponsorship that keeps em going like nearly a million a year from the sky tv deal. the annoying thing is that they could easily replace a league 2 club who could double that gate for an important game. no wonder there is a lot of bitterness about bankrolled non league clubs with few fans getting the breaks.
