did reid ever appear on the pitch with oliver. know he looked finished after his injury but we were crying out for a target man to take the weight off reid. do not care if it was tried in training and never came off. its different on matchdays playing against near strangers than team mates who know everything about you.

He could have tried Caton alongside Reid as a pair. He did try them in the same side but Caron was too wide leaving Reid isolated as per usual.

The question I am asking is he did what he did, we all know that but surely all of the hierarchy above him also knew that. So why wasn't he questioned, advised, kicked up the arse, told to bring new blood in or whatever. Who was he directly responsible to????
Plenty on here and elsewhere were questioning his tactics, the inconsistency of player's performances, team selection, the pathetic home form etc etc etc etc, so why weren't the club?????
All this was as plain as the nose of practically every fan, especially on here but apparently the club were unaware, weren't bothered or couldn't give a fuck. WHY WHY WHY. FFS.

Makes you wonder if he was his own man or if someone like Lenny was pulling the strings. Either way it didn't help his or our cause. It's part of the reason I agree we need an entire clean sweep.

Just my take for what it's worth

Maybe all of this seasons remaining contracts had to be honoured as part of the Takeover.

Or the Takeover wasent as clean cut as Radio Tees reported and Radgy is owed a shit load of cash over a period of future time.
That can be put on the back burner like if we do OK next season but will surely pop up if we keep carrying on as we are.

The summer is a good guage to how next season develops.

He did say he got lots of help from Lennie, if you did Nicky, is that help that got you the sack. I'm beginning to think that, for whatever reason, LL appears to be untouchable........surely not.
Then there's Joe Monks, did he get another job before he got pushed or has he jumped for another reason like doesn't buy into what is going on.
So many questions, conundrums and mysteries.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see, as is the norm.
If there is a three year plan, just come out and tell us, what's to be gained by keeping us in the dark.
Something has to happen to galvanise a ST interest.

Sooner or later we are going to be expected/asked to buy into whatever they've got planned when the ST offer is made. It has to be pretty irresistible or there won't be a mad dash for STs and that's as sure as eggs is eggs (boiled, fried, poached or scrambled)

My mother when times were pretty hard money wise used to put basic grub on the table for the family and if anyone of us dared grumble she'd ask "what do you expect, coddled eggs". Didn't know what they were then and still don't!

just hope for some honesty from them and not another communication from the club that sounds like a legal letter full of bullshit. no early offers but the price on day one is what the price is. fans will buy them if it looks likely they might have good reasons to do so away from loyalty and a secured seat.
