First in the queue of current Labour MPs to call for Starmer to resign, good on him. Many others haven't the guts.

That'll be him losing the whip then by close of play today.
Starmer will hang on until the May elections are finished then he'll be off to Europe for a job within the EU no doubt.
Jamie's very quiet about this sleaze at the heart of government isn't he?

Just shows you what a spineless lot of cowardly sheep the majority of Labour back benchers are, It's obvious that Starmer is a dead man walking and although I fear his replacement may be no better he's clearly got to go.

Maybe he is, but so are many other "red wall" MP's as they call them but they haven't the bottle to speak up, the whole system promotes democracy...unless you criticise the leader?, that's not democracy that's a dictatorship.

It's quite ironic that a former Hartlepool MP has caused this mess and a current Hartlepool MP is leading calls for his own leader to go.

Btw I'm no Jonathan Brash fan, or that of my local Labour MP Grahame Morris either, but they'll both know their necks are on the block next time round.

Jamie is very quiet after a 24 hour sojourn from far away, if Starmer doesn’t go now and it looks like he won’t he will go after the local elections, biggest problem then who is going to replace him, showed his true colours when he blocked Burnham, btw it’s Baltic in Seaton !

Can you point out a post out where I supported Starmer or the current Labour Government, by the way the last government wasn’t exactly squeaky clean either was it ?

I just said you're very quiet, I didn't say you supported Starmer did I? You normally have plenty to say at the slightest hint of any politicians wrong doing, particularly when it's anyone but Labour. We know the previous government weren't squeaky clean and that's why we had PMs resigning and being voted out. Back to deflection rather than commentary on the actual issue, how predictable.

Nonsense Jamie, it’s ….’bracing’…..saw some Eskimo boat people landing on the beach in a giant inflatable kayak….but the buggers got back on board and headed south….big girls blouses.

You don’t support karmer, you did say that,..but the other options are a bit off putting.
Sack the pilot by all means if you have to ….but don’t hand it over to the motley cabin crew.

The main contenders for his job have gone underground haven't they, Streeting was never off the TV screens, Rayner likewise. I reckon there'll be another Labour MP will be persuaded to stand down so Burnham can get a run at it.

It’s Barmy Boris all over again, with self proclaimed ‘working class’ Starmer making the same mistakes.

All well and good if Starmer goes, he has been a vote loser backing his Chancellor on some of her decisions but who would replace him certainly I wouldn’t want Rayner or Stretin, I think Mahmood could be inline, some of her policies re immigration are similar to Reforms so wouldn’t be popular with the back benchers.
