And the crowd that turned up to support their leader, surely they can go back with him rather than seeking 'refuge' in our country!
Our country is a dog mess!
As for Starmer, he is in bed with the muslims and as you state a traitor through and through.

even dog mess will be a thing of the past if we allow the muslim minority any more power just for a few thousand votes in certain parts of the country.

You mean the bloke who is ignoring the 'will' of the people with regards to Europe? Traitor is too polite a word for the cockwomble.

The will of the people has changed since the referendum, most now say it was a mistake to leave EU, what benefits have you had since the U.K. left the EU ?

How do you know what the majority would vote now, the opinion polls before the referendum all said Remain would win?
Brexit wasn't the mistake joining the EU was, we should have stayed in the Common Market (customs union) but never have been dragged into the political union. And Brexit was never going to be a success when the politicians decided they disagreed with the electorate and decided to make it as difficult and painful as possible.
We've already been through the issue where Jamie asks what the benefits of Brexit are, others list them, Jamie ignores them and asks again pretending he never got an answer.

Seems rude to point out that Trump had him over for an official visit to Washington back in November last year

A UK citizen who still pays tax and is entitled to vote still has a right to an opinion Snowy no matter where they live.

Doesn’t affect you though.
I can safely say you’d have an opinion even if you didn’t pay tax.

I would. I voted Leave because we didn't get a vote on the Maastricht Treaty in 1992.

Brexit has been a fiasco. Remember the days when people used to moan about Polish plumbers? All Brexit has done done is replace a cheap labour force from Eastern Europe with one from Asia and Africa. And the number of native-born Brits who won't work hasn't gone down at all. In fact there's twice as many skivers-for-life now as there was then.

Key Findings on Public Opinion (2025–2026):
Majority Support for Rejoin: Polls indicate that if a new referendum were held, a majority (approx. 54–57%) would vote to rejoin the EU, while around 43%–45% would vote to stay out.
Regret and Shift: Many voters who previously voted for Brexit now express regret, contributing to the shift in sentiment.
Support for Free Movement: Around 68% of Britons support the reintroduction of free movement, with many favoring it to regain access to the single market.
Youth Sentiment: Support for rejoining is particularly high among younger generations, with some surveys indicating over 80% of 16-24 year olds support returning to the EU.
Context of Support: The desire to rejoin is often linked to perceived negative economic impacts and a desire for closer ties to Europe.

You get your ‘news’ from the sources that agree with your viewpoint.
Any fool knows that to get an accurate view overall, crude partisan reporting only gives you a limited spectrum of information ….seized on by those desperate to display their own ignorance and no grasp of the bigger picture.
Chunter away….

Not all Snowy, dear me you think you have me sussed but how wrong can you be, I watch all the global news channels occasionally have a glance at GB News but only via YouTube if there is a vlog on there about it.
You need to broaden your outlook instead watching or listening to BBC/ITV/SKY etc, put the Daily Mail, Express or Telegraph down although I doubt you are broadsheet reader.

Jamie, you shouldn't take a dig whether someone reads the broadsheets or not, or imply that they don't!
You can share your opinions and views on here, they are more than welcome and can hopefully lead to a good debate.
But if you keep provoking people on here, they will retort back!

It is not your left wing views I have a problem with, it is the digs you end your posts with.
Does it really matter if Snowy reads the broadsheets or not? You were implying that he was not bright enough to read them!

Digs i only give out what I receive, Derwent post was like a report you would get at school for being a naughty boy, i have no idea about Snowys intellect but it’s his constant sniping at my posts, people who live in glass castles should throw stones.

Who reads any paper nowadays….they are all selling their political masters line doh.
No one’s outlook was ever widened by watching BBC/ITV/SKY etc which explains your condition..try upping the dosage on your ‘Envy Pills’.

I used to buy a newspaper every day when I was younger but gave up years ago. I used to read one in the barber's whilst waiting my turn, then came covid and the wife started giving me a trim. She did such a good job, I haven't been back to the barbers since the first lock down. Waste of time newspapers. I used to read them starting with the sport, so back to front.
When I think back to when I lived in the Town and used to wait eagerly for the mail to come through the letter box and be on the doorstep of the paper shop on a Saturday Evening waiting for the van to pull up with the footy mails. When I moved down here I got the mail office to post me the footy mail every week for quite some time as I recall. Reading the footy mail was a must. Good old days eh!!!!

Anyone know when the footy Mail stopped….last time I can recall standing at the bungalow Store for the delivery as we lived off Caledonian Road at the time was the 80’s.

100% spot on. The political elite (Labour, Tory, Liberal) never wanted Brexit so implementing it after the people voted for it, was all about going through the motions.

The Lib, Lab, Tory uni party are the alliance of the establishment with slight variations.
The triumph of the bland over the stifled/ shallow partisan ‘thinkers’.

But Jamie, how do you know most people want to be back in the EU???

Ahhh them gov polls what nobody any of us know as ever been involved in!!!! Bit gullible you aint you squire!!!! lol

They'll be the same opinion polls that Cameron relied on thinking the EU Referendum was a foregone conclusion and would be a resounding Remain vote eh?
There's opinion polls going on all the time and you'll almost always find one that supports your own views if you research hard enough, but the only polls that count are the official ones. Following the referendum every MP who was not prepared to get the best Brexit outcome should have resigned or been sacked, if they had been we'd be in a far better position today than we are right now.

Starmer comes into power and boldly states we will not be joining the EU….Within weeks of getting elected, ‘Air Miles Starmer’ is making repeated flights to Europe making regular concessions to the EU that is the nearest thing to membership possible.

He’ll slip us in through the back door eventually.

Too right - whilst mugging the indigenous tax payers to fund Millibean, the illegals and the idle - and now he is off to the Middle East to celebrate his victory - what a thoroughly loathsome individual he is.

What’s the problem with rejoining the EU Snowy as long as we don’t join the euro currency, the U.K. left the biggest trading economy in the world only because the electorate were convinced it would cut down on immigration. In fact immigration was higher then there were 1000s of channel crossings.
To summarise Snowy what benefits has the U.K. had since the U.K. left the EU, here are the downsides, take a bit if time to read it,
Key downsides of leaving the EU include:
Economic Impact: Brexit has been widely characterized as an economically damaging act, with long-term forecasts suggesting a 6% to 8% reduction in UK GDP growth by 2025.
Trade Barriers & Costs: Exiting the Single Market and Customs Union resulted in higher costs for businesses, increased bureaucracy, and significant drops in trade volume between the UK and the EU.
Reduced Investment & Productivity: The uncertainty of leaving prompted a roughly 10% reduction in private sector investment compared to potential, long-term growth scenarios.
Rising Costs of Living: Supply chain disruptions and changes in trade rules led to increased import costs, contributing heavily to inflation and higher food prices for consumers.
Loss of Freedom of Movement: UK citizens lost the automatic right to live and work in EU countries, requiring complex work visas.
Loss of Political Influence: The UK is no longer able to help shape EU laws and regulations, despite still needing to comply with many of them to maintain trading relationships.
Labour Shortages: Reduced access to European labor has caused shortages in various industries, including agriculture, hospitality, and healthcare.
Reduced Financial Services Trade: The financial sector faced barriers in providing services across the EU, with some firms moving assets or staff to EU cities.
