I had to check whether they were doing a ground share with a rugby team. Stock car racing every second Sunday?

You missed out the green patch that looked like somebody had been buried recently.

End of season report.

Biggest disappointment has to be from Smithy hoodwinking fans to pay good money for half season tickets on false pretences of having fun going for the play-offs.

You certainly didn't back Nicky like you said you would on arrival.

Well done stopping the crowds going down with your bullshit.

You are now on the Redemption step and need to step up to the mark sharpish.

Thats the reality check of whats gone on.
Obviously IMO which a few may disagree.
That's Bunker life n it's a results business.

UTP for the 26/27

Reid had a chance to win it at the death but hit the bar from close range.

Otherwise - Pools did to Scunny what plenty of other teams have done to us at the Vic. Tom Parkes coming back into the side made the difference - him and Kouogun were outstanding.

Southend won again so the only thing at stake was Pools not embarrassing themselves again.

thankyou for bringing some common sense on here. most predicting a defeat but somehow fighting out a bore draw. whats the best drawing at scunny or getting dicked at wealdstone. if feathers left today we would not see much difference whoever took over until we sign more attack minded players.

Yes the game had me on the edge of my seat the amount of goalmouth chances we had . In particular Reid hitting the bar on 89 minute. Breathtaking stuff

Fevs after match interview.
We executed the game plan to perfection.
Stay in the game till minute 70 then try n sneak a winner which we almost did.

Horrendous tactics against a poor team when 6 wins was required to have a little sniff at the play offs.

3 hopes now for the start of next season.
New attacking manager
South Shields promoted.
Darlo or Spennymoor promoted..

UTP.and good luck to the other north east teams in there quests for Promotions.

I’s just like to see a sign the engine of change is being fired up…….no sign yet.

Given that a month ago we had a reasonable chance of making the play offs, wouldn't we all rather have seen a real gung ho approach to winning games rather than celebrating dour goalless draws which count for nothing considering we were never going to be drawn into the relegation zone?
Unfortunately, let's face it we've been conned by LS and NF, the "let's have fun going for it" message was a lie. We neither went for it nor have we had fun.
Regardless of if we had the players to actually achieve anything or not, it shouldn't have stopped us going out every game with the same approach we had at Rochdale or at home to Carlisle - now that approach would definitely have been a real go and indeed it would have been fun. The reality is depressing and doesn't bode at all well for the future.
Change at the top was all we got short term with no improvement on the field, hopefully we're in for a complete new broom and a better season next time.
