It’s in the hands of the Gods and our attitude now…..It’s ‘praise the Lord and pass the ammunition’ time….fingers and toes crossed.

The Mathematics say we have to get within 2 points of Southend before we play them.

Biggest factor is getting favours off Southends opponents.

Pressure will play a major part.

We could sign a good centre back to enhance our chances.

But with Pools always expect the unexpected.

7th it is then.

Apart from Bore-em $tiff and Veggie burger FC, the top nine are all ex football league clubs..
I reckon it’s time the bottle neck was changed to four up and four down.

It's too late for that. Last Thursday was the NL deadline for new player registrations:

"Unlike in the Premier League and EFL, National League clubs have until the fourth Thursday in March at 5pm to register players, who are then eligible for the remainder of the season."

We go with what we've got. Get the prayer mats out for no new injuries or suspensions at the back. ;)

Wonder when we'll see McNally again? He's only started 17 of Pools 39 league games so far this season. Hadn't realised it was so few.

Sorry, cant really see past Southend. They may have a blip or two but are more consistent by far than we are. Besides we have some really tough fixtures in our remaing games starting with Wealdstone away.

I'm going with-

7th- Halifax- on goal difference (as they always seem to creep in there)
8th- Pools (my prediction in August)
9th- SARFend (already going to Wembley in the FAT & too many games to play in a month)

Aye…winning a cup, any cup, especially at Wembley is gonna be a big distraction.

5pm good Friday's it's still on or it's over.
No in between from me.

Yeovil n Braintree Gunna play a major part in our season.

It ain't easy predicting football scores thats why the bookies always win.

a defeat at scunthorpe will not help our cause but it does not mean our season is over no matter how the other two do. seriously doubt any of the three will go through the rest of the season undefeated or draw more than they really should.

Pools need 6 wins.
And Southend need 3 defeats.
Thats the fact of the situation.

The biggest factor is we need favours.
I'm sure Someone on here mentioned Southend have a smallish squad with injuries a bit like Pools.

Their manager is moaning about the ref they've got for tonight's game. Apparently she sent off Southend's keeper the last time she officiated one of their games.

As long as they keep her away from Pools she'll do for me

This topic can now be buried at sea on a dark night at midnight.
Hopes dashed on the rocks.

Should the next topic be, "How many season tickets will Pools sell under whatever cheap deal they concoct this year?"

To be followed by. "What pre-season bullsh*t will Pools spout to encourage us all to buy season tickets?"

And finally, "How many 3 bed dwellings (for folk from areas of strife) will be built on the Vic by this loathsome Government?"

no cheap early offers but one price for those who intend to buy now and for those who wait and see the quality of player we sign. ots up to the club then to see how many they sell by there actions regarding players.

The council have always maintained they will not sell the Vic, IOR tried but failed, if it was sold the council should put a covenant on the ground that it can only be used as a football stadium.
Loathsome government, if Farage or Badenoch was in power they would have dragged the U.K. into the Iran conflict as they initially supported it.

We're in it or hadn't you noticed? Allowing our bases to be used by the USA meant Iran had us targeted as enemies, they attacked a British base in Cyprus ffs, we're on the cusp of fuel rationing, etc, how can you think we're not in it?
And, btw unless they put boots on the ground our stay in port fleet, regular army that wouldn't fill Wembley, diminutive air force wouldn't make too much difference in activities anyway.
Starmer can't stop the daily invasion by the dinghy bandits so no doubt if there was a truly attempted hostile invasion of our shores I'm sure he'd find a nice wide fence to sit on until a grown up came and sorted it out for him.
