Are playing in semi final of the non league cup on Saturday so would expect them to put out their best side as the final is at Wembley. So likely to be a bit leggy on Tuesday so hit them hard early on, Reid will want to put on a good show for his former club he scored 17goals while on loan from Oldham. Like at Morecambe plenty of the NEVER SAY DIE attitude up the Pools.

Reid has got 11 goals for Pools now. Need him to keep banging them in for the last 7 games.

Dont forget, Pools unenviable record of soiling their pants in important games. Still haven't got over the 4-0 hammering at Woking coming in the wake of the 2-1 win away to Rochdale with all the Smith take ove euphoria still in the ether. Pools are specialists at building up hope and then smashing it to pieces.

Here's hoping both them and SARFend need extra time and penalties to Win their respective ties. Properly tire them out, whilst then playing within themselves going forward, so they don't get injured for Wembley!

you could also say that our good performances have come as a shock after bad ones. nobody knows if the team will turn up never mind win games till it happens.

There might be some mileage in stating that Wealdstone could want us to keep the pressure on Southend as it may suit their chances better in the final.

I reckon it appears more so because it’s personal to us. But talking to other fans over the years, we all treat our team like a girlfriend who’s ran off with someone else, despite our undying loyalty to her and turns up at the start of the season begging for our forgiveness but looking fit…and we weaken every time and take her back.

is buying a season ticket the equivalent of paying maintainance without the court getting involved.

This is what happens when you have no desire to make the play offs. Had a few monthsbto try and sign some quality and we have done almost nothing. Pretty pathetic.

Said after the Morecambe game to hold your horses. None of the performances were good in the 3 wins. In fact, aside from Carlisle home and Rochdale away… when has a Featherstone performance given you anything but a snooze fest. Pressures to move to 2 up front, he has been well and truly skittled here every turn over in possession has led to a goal pretty much.

They just aren’t up to it. Jobs for the boys. Favours or recommendations from his mates. Cast offs. Youngsters signed on loan who play minimal minutes and make 0 impact. Small moments of joy, followed by utter utter depths in the league and all the cups. All being overseen by a manager with 0 motivation in him carrying a sense of entitlement in his pre match pressers as though he knows he has the role next season.

It all has to change, this still feels like the slow painful death of the Raj era. I’ve not seen a moment aside from the announcement we’re getting some professional help in to look at the football operation that makes me think otherwise. Time to step up Landon.

FEATHERSTONE OUT!

Just got home and turned on to see 5-0 after half an hour. Jesus l, this could get shocking. Surely Featherstone has to go after this.

5-0 now with time to add. I think they might ease off after a while so I am going for 8-0.

There surely must be something fundamentally wrong tonight, Wealdstone are hardly world beaters and Pools definitely aren't relegation fodder. I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall in the away dressing room very shortly.

What a shit show 5 down before half time and NO sign of a substitution!

I really pity the poor buggers that travelled midweek to be embarrassed like that.

Wtf do pools do on a Saturday when they have no game!
Beat Rochdale away, Sat no game then walloped 4 nil by Woking
Beat Carlise, Sat no game then lose 2 nil at home to Sutton
3 game winning run, Sat no game then Wealdstone 5 nil down at half time
Feckin unreal

Is that the worst first half in the history of the club?

LS should sack the lot!

Disastrous score which exposes what we all knew, recent results disguise everything that’s wrong with Pools, starting and finishing with the notion Featherstone is management material !

It's not what they do on a Saturday, it's just they are one of the poorest bunch of players as a group to put on a pools shirt we can remember

Looking at the five substitutes it would appear that Feaths has thrown in the towel. We will do well to avoid conceding double figures - only hope is that Wealdstone run out of steam.

Agree - the only thought I had was saving the five he took off for the next game as this one has gone

Yes they must be tired after playing 1.5 games in a week and chasing shadows for the first 45 minutes tonight.

Substitutions made absolutely no difference what so ever.
Hold your hands up NF and leave, Because if you are still in charge next season then next season will be written off before it starts.

Players look disinterested as they have done all game.

6-0 now - this shameful night certainly will never be forgotten. ST sales won't even reach the taxiing stage let alone reach the runway. Featherstone needs to hold his hands up and submit his resignation tomorrow - game over, why prolong the agony?
