Tue-21-Apr Home Southend United
Sat-25-Apr Away Boston United

that does not give us much time to get tickets for boston away if there is anything on the game or just risk it anyway as it will not cost that much and i,m sure i have wasted more.

Featherstone got his tactics right last night and it worked…but why did itI take so long…?

The tactics were right when we beat Rochdale at their place at the end of December and Carlisle at the Vic a month ago - both tougher tasks than any Pools have had in the past 10 days.

Pools have struggled against teams that come to the Vic to defend, frustrate Pools and then nick a goal - the same tactics Featherstone uses in away games.

Funnily enough we've seen the last of that - the home games against Rochdale, FGR and Southend should all be a good watch because these teams will want to show that they're better than us. Maybe they are, but they'll have to prove it on the pitch.

To be fair, we have played well against the top teams…but we still have to be able to put the bottom clubs to the sword as well, to get anywhere….horses for courses?

Let's not get carried away, this is Pools remember, they have a habit of building peoples hopes up only to let us down time and time again. I'm hoping they buck the trend, let's wait and see.

Great win tonight, hopefully a couple of signings tomorrow to strengthen the squad and give it a right go!

We've got 7 games in 26 days coming up. The starting 11 is picking itself at the minute, they're so far ahead of the rest of the squad. Might get McNally back at some point but not signing anyone else is as good as writing off our chances. :(

"The starting 11 is picking itself “

Lets hope NF does not mess with it (Campbell)

Did you watch last night's game? Campbell was decent when he came on. He's bound to feature at some stage in the 3 home games we've got left. I'd rather it was him than Walker or Ferguson, that's for sure!

Campbell brought some more controlled passing to the game when he came on, nothing wrong with his play.

I enjoyed the match, if only we could play consistently in that fashion and with those tactics. Sandwiched in between the Wealdstone and Boston fixtures are five brutal games (on paper anyway) I have everything crossed. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain, so just go for it and let's see where it takes us. A bit of luck with injuries and no dodgy officials ( a big ask I know) and you never know. It's about time the Poolie nation descended upon Wembley !!!!!!!

This is what happens when you get american owners. They go for it.

Meanwhile back at the poolie ranch we love this league so much were going to do it once more just for the crack.next year we are going all out for it. Why get into the play offs with 6 to 7 games to go when ypu can can enjoy this all again?
