Port Vale lost £6.1m in 24/25, when the club finished 2nd in League Two. That works out at £117,000 a week...in League Two.

This takes total losses to over £17m from when the company that currently owns teh club was formed in 2014

The club's losses were underwritten by a £19.6m loan from owners.

IOR led by Ken Hodcroft, owned Hartlepool United for 18 years (1997–2015), often subsidizing annual losses of roughly £1m a season to keep the club competitive. By 2010, they claimed to have invested over £12m into the club and Victoria Park.
