Allow abortions up to a certain number of weeks as is the case now, up to 23 weeks and 6 days but surely up to birth is bordering on murder!

Up to birth is absoloute disgusting!!! Its nigh on murder!!!! Agree with it up to so many weeks, but why would anyone even wait that long, surely you know if you want to keep it or not!!!

You could end up in the bizarre scenario where in one room of the hospital the staff are fighting to save a premature baby and in another getting rid of a healthy baby who could survive.

This is still illegal and you wouldn't have medical professionals aborting a baby at full term. The change was made for women who take a pill after that period, for whatever reason and then face a lifetime prison sentence. It applies to a very small number of women , it's very sad and the Lords are trying to get rid of a draconian Victorian law. The devil as always is in the detail..

I just happen to have done my research. Remember these are the same Lords who are talking out the Assisted Dying bill so they don't do things lightly, there's a strong reason for it.

Again that's a really tough one. It has to have strong rules to make it work but there are terrible stories of people who want help but aren't allowed it. Conversely could it be abused? Can you imagine a Putin type figure in power in the UK who would love it......

It’s being abused in Canada from reports…and what’s to say once approved will not be ‘tweeked’ to change the limitations to widen the options…heard that in Canada some people with depression could qualify…scary.
I recall a case that showed a woman going to Switzerland on TV who fully fit, couldn’t cope with her husband’s death.
