 Post subject: X-ray machines in shoe shops.

Anyone remember these? Or is it just me going mad?

Some sort of box that lit your foot up to see if the shoes are a good fit, this is late 60s/early 70s.

I can't remember Sam Greenes on High Row having them..Got all my Doc Martens ,rider boots and Wigan casino soulie shoes from there..

remember them as a kid in the 50,s but thought they,d all gone by the 70,s. think it was the high end shops that had them and department stores. as a kid it was the best part of getting new shoes that actually lasted till you grew out of them and not thrown away adter a month or two like today.
