all totally true. to be honest i,d take cody johnson off you tomorrow as he would still be a league player at stockport if he had more pace about him. not that many years ago you give vardy a chance to prove himself and the rest was history.

Being back up at Spenny doesn’t really say much as plenty of decent strikers have signed for them and played second fiddle to Glen Taylor as they seem to prefer the one up front and due to his record, he is very hard to displace.
Look at Paul Blackett at Shields for example, hardly got a look in at Spenny yet scores goals for fun at Shields.
Harris probably needed to get out of Spenny in order to flourish,

I like Harris, he's got a little bit of everything as a no9. However it's hard to work out if he is just having a purple patch, or is he genuinely going to kick on and move up the leagues.

I tell ya another localish one you've missed out on, is Jay Turner Cooke, not as influential yesterday, but he is extremely comfortable on the ball, only 21/22 and is destined to move up the leagues quite quickly. He was on edges of Newcastle First Team squad last couple of seasons, and was also at Sunderland as well..

Halifax are great at turning cast offs or lower level players into an asset, seem to do it quite often. If pools signed Harris in the summer 99% of fans would be questioning it and calling for an EFL striker to be signed. We more have the knack of signing decent players and managing to misuse them and turn them to shit!.
