He always does but everybody else knows different.
Think it was a parting shot at the fans from Radgy giving Fevs the job permanently

Good news is he 100 % won't be here next season along with the rest of out of contract losers.

UTP.

I really am not buying the idea that we might make the play offs. The players keep on telling us by their inability to win games on a consistent basis that they are not play off material. Doesnt matter what happens on Saturday. We have enough points not to be relegated so we will drift towards the end of the season playing matches with very little meaning.

This means that going to watch them is a gamble. They may play well or they may not, depending on if they can be bothered. I'll not be making much effort to go and see them, just in case it is an off day. Another season that will end with a whimper.

Perhaps this has been previously mentioned but Feaths keeps banging on about 'setbacks' immediately following the players having put in decent shifts against the likes of Rochdale, York, Carlisle etc. Is it not the case that the next opposition managers and coaching staff have inevitably done their homework, watched the readily available highlights from these fixtures and have set their sides up to prevent key Pools players from putting in similar performances against their sides? Surely it is Feaths responsibility to react to opposition setting up in this manner during the 90 minutes and adapt a different approach - or in current parlance 'find a way to win' rather than simply swapping players like for like? This is - or should be - a fundamental requirement of any professional manager/coach at any level of English football but I have yet to be convinced that Feaths is capable of reacting in such a manner.

Featherstone is on the bridge, but the ship is going nowhere.

He's tactically inept which is glaringly obvious when these lower teams play us and their managers find a way to get results, often by changing tactics mid-game. He has no plans B and simply panics by putting every available forward on the pitch when we're behind and chasing games.
We're in a good position going into the last 11 games? But we should be in a mug better position Nicky and we most likely would be if you'd had any managerial nous at all.

has anyone thought that these traditional non league teams we fail to beat actually raise there game when they play us and other ex league clubs. might not be all about feaths and our players. bit of a 6 of one and a half a dozen of the other for me.

It was a parting shot, But he thinks he got it on merit.
HE has been coaching these players for months and now thinks they are not good enough, But can beat anybody on the day.

He is like a sieve, Why leave Cambell out V Carlisle, And then put him straight back in V Sutton.
Glaringly Obvious.

Given the circumstances, it's insane that if Pools beat Halifax and Southend lose at Carlisle we could be in a play-off place tomorrow night. Both things could happen, which only goes to show how much better Rochdale and York are than anyone else in the division.

Feaths reckons Pools will go on winning some and losing some, and also that we have a great chance of the play-offs in the these last 11 games.

Err, no. Any more inconsistency will blow lingering hopes out of the water and cost him his job. That elusive '3 wins on the bounce' starts tomorrow or the season is as good as over.

Spot on. I can guess the Sutton manager concluded, stop Sinclair, stop Pools. He was right.

Its the hope thay kills you. Southend have three games in hand. I cant imagine them losing all three while Pools win al of their's. The season's form book indicates it simply wont happen.

What might hinder Southend is that they're playing Sat /Tues every week this month and will still be playing catch up next month too as they're still in the fa trophy. And they've still to play us at the Vic which is a huge 6 pointer.
Instead of Fev saying we'll win some well lose some he should be saying we'll go out to win every one of our last 11 game and see where we finish. To talk in advance of losing some hardly motivates anyone, players, sponsors, or fans. He just doesn't come across as inspirational at all.

i,ll give him 10 out of 10 for honesty and saying what we are all thinking. do not actually think we would need 33 ponts to get into the play offs. giving the cards southend have dealt themselves by playing catch i think we could afford to het there by losing a couple and possibly another if we do not draw.

i can certainly see them only getting 3 points out of those games which will make things even more galling when pools cock it up. how many chances can we get to get that 7th spot. thrown at least 3 away already.

Unfortunately inspirational leaders are not in vogue at present, in fact I can't think of any that readily come to mind only loudmouth poseurs or cowardly, timid misfits.

Southend still to play us at the Vic. True. Now.....trying not to sound too pessimistic but what always happens in these big crucial games?

Same as our last MASSIVE 6 pointer, Crawley at home.

I think because LS gave his word that he would support NF till season end.
This is of course football, And things may well going on in the background.
Your guess is as good as mine.

Obviously before we play Southend in a 6 pointer we've got Halifax in a 6 pointer tomorrow, nothing less than a win will do. Full of hope but very low expectations tbh.

If we win tomorrow….as we seem to have a recent talent for beating the top clubs but losing to the lower positioned clubs…so ..it’s more hope than confidence for us…..mores the pity.

We have a different chairman now than the last one who respects contacts plus I reckon it was part of the takeover agreement to honour all contracts.

I'm sure we will reap the rewards of the takeover properly from May onwards.

Crawley n Bromley are prime example of how quickly things can change for the better regarding Efl status.

The bottom of Lge 2 is looking interesting at the moment.
