Get all the ex decent strikers that we've had in the past and they wouldn't score for us in our system of play. The strikers are not the reason we're among the lowest scorers in the division.

was not thinking about scoring goals but how better they are when they have to defend that seems important in our new exciting system.

In addition to the above, Messrs Molyneux, Fondop-Talom and Clearly all notched winning goals for their current clubs, Doncaster, Barnsley and Oldham in L1 and L2 respectively. Fondop-Talom also provided an assist for Oldham's openinig goal. Not much we could do have done to prevent Mols and Cleary leaving the club but maybe Fondop could have been retained with a little more effort?

Well he seems to be holding his own at Oldham even though they are hardly setting L2 alight. As PTID and yourself mention above, perhaps its our system of play over recent years that has not suited certain players who have subsequently proved themselves elsewhere.
