For me anyway. Not wanted by the local labour group due to the cost as they will have to seek election again in may. since when did labour bother about cost. Our voting place is at ingrow west station on the heritage line. even that could not get me to bother but her in the kitchen did her thing. what a miserable lot of buggers they were. she only asked when the results would be out only to be told its none of their business. possibly the first person they saw since 7am when voting opened.

You can of course vote against the incumbents who've lied and cheated in the hope that the representatives you do vote for won't become exactly the same once they get their feet under the table.

“Yes I think I will (trips over dog) - no perhaps not (turns round/wakes up wife) no, I will defo go this time (turns round again/stubs foot) goes for slash.

Meanwhile umpteen top government officials ranging from Cabinet Ministers, US Ambassador, MPs, and senior Civil Servants have been embroiled in wrongdoing, tax issues, associating with paedophiles, criminality including violent assault, etc with most leaving their posts with a handsome brown envelope stuffed with our money. Costing the country a damn sight more than the alleged dodgy Reform councillors.
This from the party that was going to clean up politics and regain the public's trust.

Wonder how much the legal fees are for Reform taking this to the high court, the government (ie. We the taxpayers) are paying them.
Plus more illegality by our government in cancelling them in the first place - no doubt it'll be all ok once Starmer days sorry again?
Reform are not even going to have to work hard or have much of a Manifesto, Labour are making it so easy for the opposition party's.

You can’t resist having a dig at me Snowy without mentioning Thailand, i wonder why ?
Your living in the past Snowy, Thailand changed its name from Siam 85 years ago, in Thai it means Land of the Free.

I think that was a bite, fact is none were taking bribes from the Russians who poison their opponents whilst in jail.
Nathan Gill, the former leader of Reform UK in Wales (2021) and a former UKIP MEP, was sentenced to 10.5 years in prison on November 21, 2025, for accepting around £40,000 in bribes to promote pro-Russian narratives

I can’t disagree Snowy, unfortunately the electorate voted for the party not the leader at the last election.

Check your facts PTID, Based on reports from February 16–17, 2026, the UK Labour government has agreed to pay legal costs, expected to be a six-figure sum, to the Reform UK party after reversing a decision to cancel/postpone local elections scheduled for May 2026. Some thing no one has mentioned the cost of re run elections when the boundary changes come into force.
Yes Labour are shooting them selves in the foot time and time again but let’s not forget Reform have not come up with any realistic fundable policies. The recent one about cutting Child Benefits to fund the cut in the price of a pint was farcical and proved by financial institutions to be way out by millions maybe even billions.
Reform are a one trick pony immigration, apologies for repeating myself, they forget to mention the majority of legal immigrants arrive on the visa system. Surveys show that the lowest wage earners most on top up benefits vote Reform but not realising that Reform will cut benefits to those in work.
That’s it for my Siam Party Politcal broadcast for today.

My facts are correct, the elections had to go ahead it's the law so the cost of holding them couldn't be avoided. There's extra costs to the taxpayer because Labour illegally cancelled the elections and now the legal costs for both sides are coming out of our taxes.
Remind me again who's in government? Without checking and as memory serves me I'd say there's been more wrongdoing, criminality, botched policies, U turns, etc costing the country vast sums of money, in the last 18 months than in my lifetime.
And currently, it looks highly likely that Starmer's appointed as US Ambassador was spying and handing trade secrets to Epstein who had links with Russia.
Keep bashing Reform and bringing up historical dirt all you like, this government is self destructing and taking us all down the pan as it does so. Enjoy what is left of the last Labour government most of us are likely to suffer. It'll be decades before they get another chance.

For someone who goes to such depths and is so easily aroused to snap when Labour are criticised, makes your political prejudices not very hard to fathom.
You don’t hide your party loyalty very well when you bit like a scrapyard Alsatian so easily….you mask dropped a long time ago. Oh dear.

This sums up Farage,
The forest was shrinking, but the trees kept voting for the axe. For the axe was clever,, and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood, he was (Farage) one of them"

Reform are not even going to have to work hard or have much of a Manifesto, Labour are making it so easy for the opposition party's.

Surveys by who?Who's your fact checker by the way?

Well you won’t find that info on any of the right wing msm or by watching GB News will you, try googling it, loads of info there to support my claim.

if reform are a one trick pony immigration then what were labour. Change, but the buggers never really told us what that change would be.

He reaches for the ‘Starmer’s Fairy Tales and Other Such Nonsense ’ pamphlet the only ‘book’ on his book shelf and it tells him what to think without straining too much.

I didn’t know Starmer was an author, just my summary of the number of books I read last from Amazon, 64 in total, strangely enough none were about U.K. politics or written by Starmer, you live in fantasy land Snowy.

Jamie is shit scared of what might / might not happen sometime in the future if Reform gain power, worried sick about Reforms lack of policies, and the Leader of Reform.
Wake up FFS to what's happening today, illegal and legal migration up, unemployment up, taxes up, no coherent policies or leadership, government scandals on a monthly basis, growth down, trust in politicians through the floor, etc etc
It's today and the short term that is scary and doing massive harm to the country. All about Starmer and his clown show, Farage has no influence on anything other than opinion ATM.

21 Hartlepool labour councillors are ready to resign from labour due to the London centric government (all parties) not properly funding the town particularity children in care who have been sent (trafficked) from southern councils leaving HBC with a huge deficit which it not its problem.

I am aware what is happening in the U.K., it’s f**ked and I can t see any light at the end of the tunnel and as long as one government after another consisting of university educated politicians are in power, they have no idea what life is like at the grassroots level. As long as we keep paying in work benefits nought will change either, surely in work benefits mean employers are not paying people enough ?
Reform have shot themselves in the foot by recruiting and naming former Conservatives in their ‘Shadow Cabinet’ they are just becoming another Tory Party. Their vote will now be split with the advent of the 2 new right wing parties and The Greens. According to the bookies Labour are favourites to win the G.E. in 2027.
For me both Labour and Reform had ulterior motives in the cancellation of the local elections, Labour knew they would lose loads of seats and Reform want to ‘strike whilst the iron is hot’ due to their wane in popularity.

TBH Snowy I take little or notice of your comments as you are just ‘baiting’ me.
The colouring of the 64 books went well in fact that well I didn’t use any crayons.

His logic behind his Reform rambling is pure gold….any Party would want to ‘strike while the iron is hot’…Matron had better up the dosage.

I’ve heard he lives in a maximum security twilight home in Graythorp next to the scaffolding yard…but says it’s Seaton.

You have been watching GB News again, you really need to stop watching it, 100% correct Reform didn’t want the elections cancelling, the democracy thing was just a front, obviously fooled you.

I think more Reform supporters live on Fantasy Island taken in by Farage who mentions immigration at every opportunity which is causing all the economic problems in the U.K. Predictions are immigration to nearly be zero, Universities, builders and health trusts are feeling the squeeze, as thinktank says effect of zero net migration could be similar to Brexit. Whats Farage going to bleat about then, his proposed policies have proved they are unfundable with his scrapping Child Benefit for more than 2 kids to reduce the price of a pint, he really is grasping at straws now.
Unfortunately the Fantasy Island inhabitants would rather drink cheap beer than look after.their kids.
