Oh dear, he's solved the problem of Reid being isolated though, plenty of support alongside him on the bench.

Just parked up near the ground - tempted to drive home, having just seen that!
A war of attrition to look forward to this afternoon then- FFS
Formation 4 - 6 - 0, by the looks of it

Will happily be voicing my displeasure when required. Can't see Fev at the minute
In the ground and it's worse than Brackley- what a shithole.
For those that haven't had the pleasure - the away terrace behind the goal is all of about 10 feet deep. Our lads are warming up in front of us and such is the quality of the shooting- we the fans are getting peppered!

Question to everyone who has witnessed a recent Pools game.
What’s wrong?
Answer) We’re not scoring. Reid is isolated, we need two up front.

Featherstone’s response. Drop top scorer.

Feel a bit sorry for Featherstone. He must know himself that he is clueless and out of his depth. I know its a wage for him but he must be embarrassed to take it. As long as he takes Lawrence with him when he goes!

Maybe Featherstone should change his name to ‘Maginot’…no one shall get past our defence they boasted, they didn’t, they went round it instead. :D

Half time 0-0
Charman had a great chance on 5 mins and hit the side netting at the far end- when he probably should have scored.

Had plenty of possession and they appear to happy to let us have it.

Campbell's final ball into the box has been poor and rarely clears the first man.

They had a good chance just before half time- with Hayes making an excellent block.

Tamworth are pretty average and we should be beating teams like these. Their quite physical with a fat knacker up front who's huffing and puffing and looks like a pub footballer. Also got that fat knacker Tommy Tank who takes the long throws, though we've limited him to just the one so far. They are looking to slow the game down at every opportunity and the ref (who is sporting a man bun) has bought their shithousery time and again

Need to up the Tempo in the second half and get some subs on if no change on the hour mark.

That was just wierd. Penalty to Tamworth. Their player did one of those cocky stop start run ups and scored. Ref decided that it wasn’t a continuous run up and disallowed it. He then gave Pools a free kick from which everyone’s favourite Campbell scored for Pools.

1-0 to Pools

And then Pools revert to type and don’t defend a fairly innocuous cross. 1-1

A very bizarre second half
They had a dubious penalty disallowed, after their lad stopped in front of the ball and waited for Hayes to commit.

We then go up the other end and score a decent goal with a good finish from Campbell only to concede a free header from a corner minutes later.

Tamworth were horrible- incredible amounts of shithousery throughout, constantly slowing the game down and the ref seemed to give them everything.
We huffed and puffed, plenty of possession but were getting bullied off the ball. Little cutting edge going forward. How we could have done with Mani D today. Need Oliver back or a big nasty centre forward as it was just too easy for their defence to mop up.

That said we did have a stonewall penalty turned down when Cam John was dragged back by his arm well into the box. Ref waved it away,- but then didn't book John for diving.

As with Brackley, a fortnight ago- felt like 2 points dropped as they really weren't very good- but our confidence in the final third is shot, and our inability to take a decent set piece is embarrassing.

What we need is a proper manager, Horrible manager(football wise), Horrible league.
No matter who he signs/if allowed He will still play boring negative football.
A game today that we had to win, Absolute shambles or so i am led to believe.

We're now only 2 points away from the play offs but with a manager who had even half a clue we'd be in 7th by now. Fev as manager is sucking the soul out of the fans and players. It's as depressing as at any time in the last couple of years watching this lot.

The situation is pointless getting pissed off about it.

It's relatively a quick fix officially from May. UTP

Something has to be done. Communication from the club has stopped again. We've had a God awful performance last week. Two mediocre draws against teams we should be beating. Southend and Halifax are waiting for us to catch up but we are chasing them in a manner of hopping on one leg. After the carnival atmosphere of the Alty game, followed by a luck y win against Gateshead, two games where the fans were rolling back, we put the hand brake on as far as recruitment is concerned. What are we waiting for, I would love a bit of clarity please. We, the fans, are desperate for a team to get behind and roar on back to the EFL. We have been told that is everyone's goal, so can somebody tell us when we're gonna get going................please.

Obviously Fev either thinks he's permanent regardless of he knows he's out at the end of the season. He's not exactly going for glory and making it hard for the owner to let him go at the end of the season.

I appreciate that but that scenario doesn't stop us starting the recruitment process now. Two or three wow signings sends all the right messages out. The fans get behind the intent, more money gets generated by increased gates. Other targets become interested in the lure of being at the club etc etc etc. I just think we're missing a trick here.

Sheron and Hunter are both out of contract in the summer aren't they, as is Holohan? None of them should be on any team sheet ahead of Miley who is not only the best CM we've got but he's also the future.
Hasn't he learned McNally is a CB, surely Sheron or Hunter are better options rather than moving our best CB out of position when we don't have a RB available?
Fecking throw the coaching manuals away, play 4-4-2 with your best players in their best positions and FFS give us something to get behind, better we miss out having given it a go than this negative anti-football shite that's killing the takeover feel good feeling.

Another good draw? Definitely not!

Draw every game - 46 points = relegation
Win half, lose half - 69 points = playoffs

It appears to me that some managers think losing threatens their jobs but draws help them hang on!
