Tamworth are obviously determined to retain their NL place even though they are seven points clear of the relegation zone - probably also looking forward to next season in the NL ie get a few on loan deals now and see what they are made of in competitive games. Meanwhile at Pools, Featherstone rambles on about not being able to introduce his (three?) new EFL signings, seemingly due to.stuff going on behind the scenes. We (continue) to wait with bated breath.....

I was wondering if the powers that be have pulled the plug on Fevs spunking money up the wall, and have a replacement lined up. Last week he seemed quite sure there was two or three coming in.

Listening to Feaths pre-match interview it sounds like he is still expecting to bring several in next week, however it does seem that something is or has been going on behind the scenes that has delayed the introduction of fresh flesh. Meanwhile several NL clubs have already snapped up EFL players during the course of this week including Tamworth of course.

The players Tamworth have brought in are relatively local…we never seem to have very much joy in that department….on the rare occasions it happens we generally end up being disappointed.

is he getting the money he wants yet. not bothered if we are a week behind the mighty tamworth as long as the right players are signed to make the difference especially next season. he might not be a good manager but he might be eventually good at spotting the right player.

This 100 %.
He's living in a fantasy world if he thinks otherwise.
He's still on about play offs in his pre match video n blowing up his own arse about when was the last time a Pools Manager had the club only 3 pts behind the top 7.
Total Delusion.

And when was the last manager at any club at any level fixated on clean sheets rather than wins?

Whilst it’s good to have the points in the bag all the teams around us have games in hand and if they win them it will send Pools tumbling down the table.

And the crowds will tumble big style.

Our Loyal fans must be sadists to endure that shit.

Maybe Radgys parting shot saying to Smithy you have to honour Fevs short term contract to May.

Wonder what Fevs next job will be.

Coaching the Pontefract Rovers under 14s or getting Starmers job!!! :snooty:

a bad defeat at york will see gates back to just over the 3k level. returning fans are not going to put up with the crap they are being served up. might get some new players in but what standard will they be.
