Should be a great atmosphere next week before KO, if he plays this formation and the players don't turn up again our new owner will be in for a shock.

Just speculating but could the players be telling the new owner they want rid of Feaths by performing like this?

Was Landon there?
Did he leave at 3-0?

4-0 a fair result.
Players didn’t turn up today.
Simply not good enough.
Feel for those who travelled to watch that.

Typical Pools, the fans receive the biggest boost for several years, pasting the league leaders away from home, finally getting rid of Singh and entering a New Era for the club. Trust Feaths and his ramshackle shower of journeymen to bring everyone down to earth at the very first opportunity, we should have known better than to have hope.
It will be most interesting to see how Landon reacts to this reality check, I'm not expecting a gut reaction but today's performance/result will surely enable him to clearly see that Feaths and at least half of the current squad are simply not man enough to seriously mount a play-off challenge. No excuses please Feaths, hang your heads in shame guys.

All our historical successful managers have taken no shit and have been nasty at times.

Clough
Knowles
Cooper
Challoner

The list is short but the list of those who were pally is long.

The top two were something else. Clough was just brilliant until later in his career and Knowles could make a good team from a ramshackle bunch of no hopers.

Featherstone's only credentials for the manager position are that he's been here too long.
He's obviously not learning anything at all and therefore there's no hope for improvement.

That was a sick joke of a match….a blancmange of turgid nothing.
The tactics were abysmal, a form a wagon train defence which became pointless when they scored…but the pantomime was allowed to carry on with no plan or tactics, as we appeared to be defending a 2-0 deficit with lethargic repetition ……. No real change in tactics, just fumbling about like confused geese, no creativity and worst of all the failure to change tactics……they made our opponents look good with our clumsy meandering around and getting nowhere… an embarrassing farce of a game.

Just walked home. Once again, Pools embarrass me at Woking. However, this was the worst. Two decent build up plays for Woking led to a 2-0 lead. Pools just did not start playing. The shambles continues with Cameron John having been passed with a slick move by a Woking player (the ball went one side of him, the player went other side) hacked him down after the ball was passed on. It looked like revenge for being made to look foolish. Clumsy and idiotic. That killed the second half before the shirts half ended. More of the same second half.. same outcome. Roll on next season when maybe I can watch a match here without a feeling of dread..

Did not see the first goal, But watch the 2nd goal again, Watch Sheron, Went to sleep and let Beautyman stroll past him to deliver the assist.

Said this before and i will say it again.

DC would state after a loss “Lose the game and lose your time off”
Bet the players are not at work tomorrow.

Robbie Stelling got it right on the commentary when he said at 2-0 the players looked as if they couldn’t wait to get back on the bus home

They looked lost and uninterested….. going through the motions acting as if they’d walked down to the match…there was just nothing …..no effort, no creativity, no tactics …… just an indifference and poor tactics that bizarrely incapable of being changed to meet the changes.
There’s no point getting new owners if this is how it’s gonna be…it was schoolboy errors and a shocking lack of effort and belief out there on the pitch.

after the rochdale game nobody expected a 4 nil defeat. as usual with pools its one step forward and quickly a step back. it does seem odd that our worst performances have been when the team has has a week off to prepare. in some ways they and the manager cannot hide from a hammering like they could by a defeat by a single goal which can paper over the cracks more. we,ll never do a thing until we start loaning our players out to york and not bring in those who are deemed not good enough for them.
