Given the weather forecast an inspection needs to be done the day before and a decision made then to avoid cost to HUFC and the loyal supporters.
Just like what should have happened on Saturday.

Straight forward enough to check the overnight temperature, it’s not as if there is going to be heatwave or very high rise in temperature.

I’m back home in Woking on Friday. I’ll look out of the window and walk into the garden to let you know then. Hopefully the match is on.

Our away results are play offs material.

But it's the non stop home failures that are our demise.

Time to bring in the players who thrive off good support and a manager who attacks a bit more at. Home.

Expecting upgrades to kick off the new season in August.

Small progress to better times already happening.

UTP.

Just stepped onto the grass in my garden here. Slight frost on the greenhouse but the ground is soft. The only dodgy area of the pitch will be in front of the big stand. I’ll be in amongst the Woking fans today but they know who I’m supporting today.

well todays game might give us a clue to whether the rochdale win was just a one off or we are seeing improvement in the team.

Get the travelling Poolies to piss on the dodgy bit.
200 gallon of "processed" beer should do the trick.

well things will either get overpositive or back to negativity after 5pm tonight. its pools so any result will not be a shock for me. one thing fevs post match will say if we win the rest has done the lads the world of good, but a defeat will say they were stale with a lack of game time.

It has persisted down, here in the South East for about 12 hours. The sun is shining now so it seems to me the pitch will be heavy and will cut up. Not conducive to tippy tappy play it from the back. Will this favour either side? Still think it will be 1-1.

Reid a waste of space isolated yet again.

What is it about Pools players having a automatic instinct to pass sideward and back to the goalie?

But Fevs n radio Tees class this system as 3 up front.

The braindead cranks.
4 4 2 for this division with 2 proper wingers n 2 proper Wingers.

End of chat.

If nothing else it demonstrates to the new owner how shite we are rather than be fooled by a win at Rochdale who put in their worst performance for years.

Johns, a bad foul simply because he’s been outclassed by their player time and time again.

This is going to be a hammering.

John sent off now . What a mess this club is. The new owner has taken a lot on with this shambles of a club. Can see this being 5-0. We have no idea . There no 10 running the show. We have no pace,no creativity , slow as fuck , sideways , backward passing, no pace , no ingenuity. Rochdale was just a blip

I think Reid deserves keeping, it’s not his fault put tactics are stupid and negative. The rest can be chased.

It’s painful to be writing another season off again. That’s what hurts the most. You come into this thinking 3 points could set up two massive home games and yet again the club, staff and players let you down. Throw on the fact we’ve had all our prayers answered on the ownership, and it is laughably Pools to be 2 zip down and down to 10 away at fekkin WOKING.

I bang on about it all the time but since DC left, the standards have been terrible minus a small rally under Askey when we nearly stayed up (until THAT performance vs Crawley).

Feaths, the media, the club PR after Rochdale was off the chain. If you go and make that much noise over an individual win and performance you have to go back it up. And as always, we can’t.

Landon, please gut it, start over and invest in the playing squad. A long term project, yes, but a vital short term project within that has to be to put a team together that can genuinely compete. We are treading water season after season, small lights of optimism when we sign some players, start the season well, go on a mini run… but it always ends the same.

I have little confidence in Featherstone either. He was a negative player as a holding midfielder and that carrying on into his tactics as a manager.

Kougon, McNally, Miley - also worth keeping.

You have to be ruthless and say that the likes of Hunter, Sheron, Campbell, Charman… they give you a good performance in every 3 games.

We will soon find out in time what pond we’re fishing in though in terms of player quality. Look at York’s forward line, Carlisle with Linney, Armstrong and Conn-Clarke. It’s a different level entirely.

Sounds dreadful. I hope Jeff Stelling pulls no punches when LS asks him for his opinion on the game. Jekyll and Hyde performances are 100% unacceptable and the playing side of this club need to be told, in no uncertain manner, that it has to stop, or else.

Featherstone is part of the problem never rated him as a player he and his tactics or lack of them are stale like the club we need fresh faces in the coaching and management roles to rid the club of all this dross

It was revealing that after the win at Rochdale he maintained that two strikers were not the way forward and we simply didn’t understand.

I’d be surprised if he’s not watching what he’s just - presumably - thrown a couple of million quid at. I’d like to think he is.

Pools are like the Man Utd of the national league with the DC mini period like a microcosm of the Ferguson years at Man Utd. We’re cycling managers, going from experienced FL managers to trialing managers from other leagues (Hartley!). Former players talk of what the club used to mean and level it ‘should’ be at... But no matter what we do, we just can’t seem to stop the rot as players come & go, small bursts of optimism occur but the whole thing just still doesn’t work for some reason.

…And we’ve now found ourselves with a former player at the helm (Solsjaer/Fletcher-esque) whilst we work out exactly what we think we might need next, as another season passes us by.

I hope Landon’s regime can be the silver bullet.

Ah yes, we just needed players to get closer to Reid.

Well… I’ve seen Reid head more balls to nobody than to players in the vast majority of games so I’m unsure how that’s working for ya Feaths.

It’s just funny they’ve had 2 weeks to prepare for this and during that time we’ve been bought out and had some of the biggest elation the club has had for 8 years. And this is what the staff and players pull together to really ride the crest of the wave.

I up top can work if your 1 is someone who can play as a lone striker, and, you have midfielders prepared to get close and beyond and wingers to beat a man and put crosses in. Fev doesn't see what we can all see.

3-0 . Not one player has put in a performance today . The players and the manager should be ashamed of themselves . Playing with one striker is just so dumb

No passion No pace No idea when you have people like that in the team along with a manager who has no idea we are going to struggle. These players are at this level because they only have 1 good game in three or five if we want to get out of this league the new owner is going to need to bring in an experienced manager and spend money on players with a lot of football league experience until that happens we are stuck in this league.
