Will the current euphoria translate to three points against the Cards? I dont think we have ever won down there so a win would be a real turn up for the books. Besides, we tend to follow a good performance with a poor one. I am predicting a 1-1 draw.

1-1 from me in a battling performance with 121 Poolies.

10.30 a.m. pitch inspection tomorrow. Pools have already travelled down but an overnight temperature of -2 is forecast, which counts as a new Ice Age in Surrey.

Not much chance of it being on. The pitch is borderline now and its -4 overnight. It doesn't get above zero before 11am tomorrow.

Boreham Wood already called off tomorrow's match with York because of a frozen pitch. Is Woking that far away from them ?

Do you know we've had 9 different scorers in our last 7 competitive games. Is that a good thing as opposed to a bad one?

should be then if that minus temperature is correct. they seem to work down to a certain temperature. Problem is nowadays is id there is a bit of ice on the steps inside the ground it will be called off for that. health and safety yet again. nobody needs to go if they are that frightened.

Weather forecast yesterday had yellow cold weather warnings and amber cold weather health warnings around the country reminding us to stay warm and take care in icy roads and pavements - FFS it's winter do we need warnings that it might be cold and slippy??
How long before we're confined to our homes when these warnings are in force and digital ID is on our phones?

it is untill they get into the league. feel doing that is a marker to there fans due to the cost of putting it down then ripping it up and saying we are where we are for the duration. mind you they might be quite happy where they are as they have known nothing better. the difference between pools and the traditional non league outfits.

fed up of
being taken for a 5 year old kid being warned by your mam to take care going to school which you ignored once meeting up with your mates. if you slipped on the ice so what. if you had a neighbour who was old and frail you asked em if they needed out to keep em going as they are the ones in any real danger. in 6 months time we,ll get warnings due to heat in summer.

Woking aren't playing next Saturday so there's no reason why they can't reschedule then.

trouble is it seems to take longer than it should to do that nowadays. once it would have been sorted out by now. actually i,m glad in a way as its another week at least if its re arranged to get mcnally and charman up to speed for a full game and someone new in. think we could have been down to bare bones today and a few not 100%.

unless you scrap the tele and the wireless and live in a cave you cannot get away from it. you either fall for it or get wound up by it. something thats not just happened or started by accident.
