No changes to the team for Yeovil game. Looks like our new gaffer is going for the 1-0.

Yes start of proactive , eventually score then sit back and defend the lead . Same crystal ball.

Agree. I must say I am struggling to be optimistic today. Wondering if its going to be a 'tits up' kind of day.

Sloppy passing no rhythm from Pools. Yeovil playing high press whilst Reid isolated on his own

No width, ball going sideways and backwards . By the time we do get forward Yeovil have everyone behind the ball. School boy tactics

And the players who can provide width are on the bench. FFS.

Garbage . Get Brown and Francis on now Featherstone . This is just a walk in the park for Yeovil with this pedestrian line up .

I had a feeling things may not turn out as we hoped, today. Always the same with Pools: they build us up and then we all come crashing down. Its a 'tits up' day. Yeovil not play off contenders but they are better than us. Looking forward to the post match excuses.

unlike the week before that did not work and we looked worse. Big problem still is the 3 we have out injured who would have started the game if they were available. unlike in some recent games we did not get the run of the ball as they always found a black and red shirt when they made any type of clearance. did not realise also how slow brown is at running. might be tricky but pace is not there. as for fanny johnson just whats the point.

It was the result we all dreaded but hoped wouldn't happen.. Fevs knows he has the rest of the season to prove he has what it takes and he also must be aware of the limitations within his squad. He has to start now emphasising the improvements he wants to see in the make up of that squad and hammer that home to the decision makers and purse string holders. He has to be brave on this and not shrink away from hammering his needs home. What has he got to gain by keeping quiet on this subject. The club have to be left in no doubt that, whilst he will do his best with what he has got, if the club want progress they have to play their part and back him.
Much as I would like to see us challenging for the play offs this season, I think, with the tools we have got, that is a step too far.
However it is not too early to start laying the foundations for next season and the sooner we start the better. I'm not holding my breath that the club is willing to go forward with that idea but if they don't another manager will bite the dust and the club will operate in ever decreasing circles until it eventually disappears up it's collective arsehole.
That's my take on it.

fell a bit the same. pointless just getting into the PO unless you have a good chance of winning them without relying on us playing out of our skins and the opponents having an off day. stability is what is needed to give us a better chance next season od us really being promotion candidates. getting to wembley in that trophy many laugh about would be the first way to get the club back on the map in the town.
