askey i,m sure will be getting them all fired up for this and with our dodgy home form i,m going for a 2-1 to them. any win would be brilliant for us after an away win but it never seems to happen.

It is pretty obvious a draw (probably 1-1) is the most likely result since Pools rarely win two games on the trot and have already drawn six out of ten home games. I dont claim expertese but it seems to me the style of football Pools play is better suited to away games where there is more emphasis on defence and break away attacks. Pools have won more away games than home games. Highly unlikely we will beat Truro.

You make a fair point Ozzy but I have a feeling that the turning point is very close. I think he'll keep the back door shut and Campbell will produce the chances. His continuing progress will make the difference, he might even bag one himself.
Two unlikely goalscorers last Saturday and I get the impression he is encouraging a shoot on site attitude. Reid is getting sharper as his game time increases. My confidence is increasing so I'll go for a win. A comfortable one preferably but any sort will do.

agree, but who do you partner him with. its typical pools that oliver gets crocked just before reid was back.

on paper we could not have a better chance over the next 3 games to get our home form back on track. is it the tactics used or just the players themselves scared of making mistakes and making the easy option with the ball thats holding them back. there cannot be many places better than the vic if the team is playing well and winning but far from it when the opposite occurs.

One thing for certain is the fact that Askey will be pulling out all the stops and inventing a few more to put one over on us.
I hope his desire for a win is at least equalled by our group. With our woeful home form our desire to win should not be wanting.

TBH Pools are 8th in the league, one place off the playoffs on a 6 game unbeaten run. Given the "issues" that the club has and the turmoil encountered i am quite happy.
If we can get 4 or even 6 points from these next two league games it may be "game on" for the playoffs.
But you know what will happen!

I am concerned with the attendances and fully appreciate the reason why but as Bobby Robson said its all about the town not the owners,club or players.

i,d bet fans of other clubs in our league position would be overconfident of winning 3 home games on the bounce against teams in a lower league position and the other a few leagues inferior. is it a pools thing where we always expect the worst to happen. its not as if we are welcoming carlisle, rochdale and forrest green to the vic in the next 3 games.

So far this season Truro have 2 draws from 10 away games in the NL - 2 points from a possible 30.

Frankly if Pools don't put Truro away on Saturday it will be a disgrace. Maybe it's the kind of shock result Raj is hanging on for to justify not appointing Feaths? Will be watching from afar again but fully expect Pools to win this one.

I remember driving up from Culdrose and going through Truro and it was a summer evening …looked rather pleasant, intended to return but never did..but I will one day.

I've heard it's only open to our fans who own properties in the town valued at 2 million plus, electric car drivers and activists of various persuasions including plasticine action ( a group who wants to protect the interests of people who use Playdoh), so should be rammed full.

The Millhouse seating stand attracts the better quality fan so i for one will be disappointed if they let in any from the terrace.
