Watched his post match interview on YouTube

They were happy with a point
However what is more concerning is that right at the end of the interview -
He mentions that one of their players was racially abused at the end of the game.
Was anybody else aware of this or witness what happened?
Not a good look for the club if this is true, given a couple of previous incidents that we've
had bad press about previously. Said individual needs identifying and banning, should this be the case.

I was one of the last out of the ground and i noticed a huddle of stewards looking very serious with one on his phone/intercom at the town end near Clarence Road.
During the game i did see one of their players look up at the Millhouse Terrace with a "quizzical" look on his face but cant remember when.
This is just what we dont need.
Disgrace.

Some of them were getting the piss taken out of them by fans in the MH where I was but certainly nothing racist from what I heard. Be a bit surprised given the diversity of our own squad wouldn't it?

Doesn’t matter with some people. I heard Bingham and Rodney both get it when they were wearing our shirt.

Those examples were 10-11 seasons ago. I haven't heard a racist comment from the MH in ages. This season the game is trying to put the bloke who takes the long throws for the opposition off, but it's all good-humoured.

without knowing what actually was said its hard to comment. could have either been a bit of banter or something really nasty. feel some players are looking for something as many are just to make something of it. surely fans should not have to tread on eggshells all the time before making any comment on an opponent. nobody wants to go down the line of thinking he,s a right shithouse but i dare not say it because he is black.

It's really not difficult. You can call any player a shithouse to your heart's content (as long as he doesn't do a Cantona and come into the stand for you ) but if you call him a 'black shithouse' that's racist under current UK legislation - whether you agree with it or not.

Clough nickname for Mark Crossley was sh** house, I never heard him complain, he even mentions it now in his vlogs.

Can we call a player a "Scottish Shithouse", asking for a friend?

Watched the highlights, their goalie had a good game, possibly at fault with the first goal but pulled off some good saves later on.

Not if he is from Wales.
That is the worst form of discrimination. ;)

It is quite remarkable how many opposition keepers have MOM performances against Pools.

The whole team have a questionable attitude. Their fixture at Scunthorpe was abandoned when they refused to play on following a lenghty period of injury treatment to one of their players. Turns out he had a dislocated shoulder not a life threatening head injury or heart attack. The NL awarded the the three points to Scunthorpe rather than have the game replayed. Having said that, I do not condone racist abuse in any shape or form and if it really did happen, appropriate action should be taken, whatever that may be.

I watched right to the end and seconds before the keeper was wanting to not pick the ball up the kill more time and Johnson poked his foot at the ball so the keeper makes a massive meal of this complaining to the referee like he’s gone in studs up which he didn’t. At the end of the the game in the players are shaking hands etc I saw Johnson say something to the goalie probably along the lines of man up you Fannie, he walks away and the goalie blows his stack trying to chase after Johnson, at one point the ref was pulling him back from behind with two of their players. So it definitely did not come from the crowd in my take.

Nice one DJ Too many soft not nice people in the game.
John Gill would have picked him up by his ears and threw him into the town end (Grayhoundend)

if players did not act like one then there would be zero reasons for fans to abuse them in any way. its a very long time since fans just picked on a player and singled them out over the rest if they had done nothing to wind them up. over the years how many opponents have scored a winner at the vic and nobody could put a name to them.

The keeper should have been booked, from where I was Johnson didn't even touch him before he started barging and shoving Johnson. Not a foul by Johnson and by the letter of the law given that the ref hadn't actually blown his whistle it was a foul by the keeper and a penalty.
Games are all recorded so why not have panels reviewing every game for blatant cheating and awarding retrospective cards and bans, it would stop 99% of it overnight?

Doubt the FA give a damn about the NLge, And the Nlge themselves cant be arsed.

they were quite good in getting the cloggers out of the game and getting rid of these would make the game much better as they have replaced cloggers by cheats and fannies that no fans like. WHY they ever changed the goal kick laws is beyond me as its a time wasted charter from the first change to what we have now.
