Kian Foreman is an attacker. First time a young lad had appeared on the bench since the pre-season friendlies. Hope he gets on.

It's more surprising that Cameron John doesn't feature. Presumably he's picked up a knock in training.

More likely York have refused permission for him to play as he would be cup tied.

Seems to be the case. Funny, because Grayson was interviewed a day or so ago on The Red and said he was free to play.

Listening to the game it sounds all Gainsborough, I was surprised they hadn’t scored earlier.

None on pitch either according to the commentary.

If we don’t score again in this match and consequently lose the game imo Grayson needs to go. I don’t think he has any idea how to get our misfiring forwards sorted. 45 minutes for me . Sounds like Gainsborough are the better team. Shocking !!!

At least Darlo are losing 4-0 at HT.

Home replay, but will Pools have Hunter and Sheron starting the game as centre-backs? So much for the best defence in the NL - that's gone.

Emergency loan signing on Monday?

Or recall Campbell Darcy from his loan at Hebburn? He's playing at the same level as Gainsborough Trinity.

or just go out and outscore the opposition. shit i forgot its pools where we are lucky to get 1. they,d want more gate money off us if we were free scoring.

Darlo were thrashed 6-0 at home by Telford in the end. I would be very surprised if Armstrong senior isn't dismissed at some point this week as they are also just one point above the NLN relegation zone ie Telford.

Listening to Grayson after the match sounds like we were as awful as it sounded on the radio . Nobody played well and we scraped a lucky draw . For the first time he seems angry but I just don’t think he can turn this team around . The squad is just too small , lacks any creativity or purpose in front of goal and to be honest my worry is that we are now in relegation form. I have thought for a long time that the players confidence particularly upfront is shot and it’s Grayson job to get it back . He has no in-depth squad to put pressure on those who are underperforming hence we see the same thing every week. A few months ago I thought this team was too good to go down but now not so sure . Now the malaise is spreading to the rest of the team and it’s not good. I like Grayson but if you can’t score goals you know the consequences . Would another manager make a difference I don’t think so . Now that we are collecting injuries everything is panning out like a lot of said . I hate talking the team down . Comments lads

Armstrong senior was dismissed two seasons ago!
Steve Watson is the current incumbent.
Yesterday was the worst I have seen us play as a team since the Steve Staunton era. The thing is nobody saw a performance like that coming, yes we have our moments but from virtually the first minute onwards nobody played well.

It does make me wonder what managers/coaches say to players.

As i,ve stated before DC used to say "Lose the game, Lose your time off"

If you don,t treat players like men they won,t listen to you.

you can still play well as a team and lose if the opposition does the same but better. actually its better than playing bad and sneaking a draw which aint going to happen every time.

bet they shut the town end for starters. if we get an exciting draw a few extra might make the effort. gainsborough to bring more than a lot of others do for a league match.

Whoops, apologies LS I'm obviously not up to speed on all things Darlo, I occasionally look at the NLN table but it was the scoreline that surprised me. Anyway it appears that Watson remains in situ - for now anyway - he would certainly be history under raging Raj.
