Also Rajinoora and Rajak running at the same meeting, all in same ownership - get an accumulator on if they all win it might be enough to make an offer.

Fav in the 16:10 race at Newmarket is very well bred indeed!

Raging Raj stepping up in distance and has no chance!

The first two in that race that pulled clear and fought out the finish are worth following:

Distant Storm and Constitution River.

Raging Raj, not in the same class, by a long way.
He first ran in a Class 5 maiden, 4th of 6, then a Class 4 Maiden where he finished 9th of 10.
Yesterday upped to a Class 3 maiden where he predictably finished 11th of 12.

Despite the lack of class this horse exhibits so far, he is actually entered in two very strong auction races coming up in the summer and early October. Again if he takes up these engagements, he will be very big odds indeed.

If I were the trainer, I would see what his allocated handicap rating will be and enter him in a few nursery races.
Depending on the class of the race, he may run a lot better.
He has tried 5f, 6f and 7f so the trainer is either unsure of what is best distance is or is trying to get a lower handicap rating.

I suspect the horse will be gelded over next winter if he does not show any improved form and may end up in Class 5 handicap races or lower, maybe on the All Weather. If that is the case there may be a win or two out of the horse.

Since I last was on this thread with the advice about following those two horses:

Distant Storm 3rd, 1st and 3rd. The win was in a Group 3 race.

Constitution River, 1st and 1st, the latter in a Group 2 race.

Hope you were on, 3 wins from 5 bets. Not the best of prices but the horses are very well regarded.

As for Raging Raj, he has been entered in a Class 6 handicap at Leicester 13:44 race on Tuesday 14th and as predicted also he has been gelded!
One positive he has ran at Leicester before in a maiden, 4th of 6.
Timeform actually tip him in this race and expect some improvement. 14/1 they have predicted his odds to be, although I suspect he will be bigger on betfair.
I don't play in Nursery handicaps but Supreme Dancer looks to have a decent enough chance in that race but a race to watch rather than having a bet!

Betair have him at a 2.1% of winning the race, the odds offered however suggest a 14% chance.
Currently 3rd fav. So the chance of getting decent odds seems to have been snuffed out by Timeform tipping the horse!
I will be watching the race with interest...

8/1 early doors, now 9/2 on betfair. 2nd fav at the moment, could end up vying for favouritism!

Fecking hell, Raj all the rage!!!
Could be the fav for the race and I did a bit of trading.
As we speak the odds have changed and the horse could end up fav!
Bird of War is now fav, with Raj 2nd fav.

Race is underway... 4.29 BSP

Has really improved. Will find a race at that level soon.

Horse is named after its sire Raging Bull and the owner of the company Jastar Capital Limited, Raj Matharu.

Can we suggest some names of a horse that the Hartlepool chairman could own?

No market available at the moment, probably be one of the favs after it did so well in its last race, finished 2nd where it was gambled on.

Bits of 4/1 taken on betfair but hardly much, 3/1 down to 2/1, 9/4 may be available, perhaps 5/2 if you are patient.

I would have thought around 7/2 would be a much fairer price considering his last run was on good to soft ground, although he has ran at this course before, a 6f sprint, today he is sticking to 1 mile, which I thought he would do better at in my earlier analysis, trainer running over shorter trips for a lower handicap rating, a few months ago.

Now back to the AW surface at Kempton, in a class 6, decent jockey on board and clear fav, next best horse is Suggy at 7/1.
Quite a lot of unknowns in the race and at 2/1 you pay your money.

well you certainly do not need the one liners thread when you have got this one. just need a lonely lenny running in the same race with a perfect pearson as a rank outsider.
