Nowt to say that they can't just move to Whitby or somewhere and call themselves Scarborough FC 2007 of course. It would appear that the council have been absolute bounders all the way through and when they finally dithered to the right decision, it was too late. You ought to be able to demonstrate your unswerving support for a football team before you can stand as a councillor. Most of them seem to think anything to do with sport is derogatory to a town.

Doubt that Whitby Town would be too happy if they did move, they're deadly rivals!

Councils vary a lot, but the Seadogs really seem to be suffering at the hands of theirs. Presumably they think the club gets in the way of all the flowerbeds. Wonder how many of them were there for the Chelsea game though, or were making statements about what a great day it was for the town/club?

No I was looking on Thai Airlines site, in their infinite wisdom the UK Consul have managed to lose our rasses passport and we're supposed to be going to Bangkok tomorrow.

They told her it was because of easter holidays.
