The Poolie Bunker

Jesus H Christ in a chicken basket, he's the worlds worst pub singer!!!

I blame the botox..............

he's the next one to sack Noel
nobbers, not a patch on Blur never have been

actually Mr Salt I think you'll find I AM the worlds worst pub singer.
Liams second mind...unlucky liam ya loser!

not to be confused with the real Howlin Wolf who had the greatest voice ever.imho

He sounded terrible tonight, he's trying to make himself sound too powerful and passionate and just doesn't have the vocal chords he had 10 years ago. His voice isn't bad at all for the softer lovey lovey songs oasis have done a lot of lately because he was on something else not so long ago......

actually I think you'll find you're theworlds worst wedding singer!!

I've always thought they were awesome. In fact they still are...... aren't they...?

point 1. entirely correct

point 2. Mani aint in Oa*is

point 3.

:sweet:

nope, tis Andy Bell [ex-Ride as was]

also hurricane #1 how shite were they???! well shed7 fans'd like em I suppose

Russell Brand had it right when he said the 'standing on the shoulders of giants' line that they were there looking over the giants shoulders nicking the chord structures

i thought Brand was good tonight.
i think he's a good presenter rather than comic, altho he is also amusing...

NO WAY!!! Ride were beaut! shoe gazings finest

You're right, music for the masses but I really do like it. Even their supposed shite albums I like. We live in a post modern world where everything is copied and immitated and very little is origional anyway.....

gonna watch the rest on itv2 now

masochist me

Nope - never have been, never will be

The worst of "Brit Pop" shite

well aye chop

bag of shite is oasis indeed

I ate my words tonight.

"I like Liam Gallagher's voice. I love the shoutiness of it."

*he starts singing*

"Actually, no, he sounds fooking shite"

More to the point, what the fook was Joss Stone wearing? Why does she try to be funny too?

for once i was really looking forward to this, i missed the 1st hours but ive gotta agree ECG Oasis were shite im a fan but they sounded terrible. funniest moment was that alan clark kissing them nob heads take that.

i think the presenter is a bit of a dick head but he was funny at times

I never understood the attraction of a load of foul mouthed arrogant mancs. They did a couple of decent songs early on = or were they average and we got bombarded with them until we thought they were ok?

If I was a member of TT I would be overjoyed right now

What with that fat talentless oaf back in 'rehab' because, as warned by all and sundry, he cant write a song to save his life

thats what we were [enjoying] saying Talbot
and the fact that they never mentioned him goes down as a snub in my book, and fair play to em

I bought take that and party from a charity shop

GRRRR and another, Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

HOW GASH were/are they???!
utterly dreadful, I hate that screamy guitar that they and many other bands use. Just no need for it.

now, I didn't mind them during the Californication period [ ] , but the before and afters are cack.

The drummer. Wearing a baseball cap backwards[! ] does not become a 45 year old man!

The Bass player. Truly the most irritating man in funk/rock/pop/jazz/blues/indie/folk/get the picture?
a frigging total arsehole who sums up surf dude american pricks. a cock

The singer. see above. plus wearing 52 sweat bands on each arm does not become a 45 year old man. And while were on stop the bloody moralising about getting 'clean'! we don't wanna know about your shitty existance you frigging yankee bellend.

The guitarist. pack in the screamy stuff and pack in the chilli wankers. stick to yer solo stuff lad

all in all, you could say I'm not a fan

the chili peppers are incredibly dull and they've released about 15 singles in a row that all sound exactly the same.

that doesn't take away the fact that in 1991 they made a very excellent album.

Yep, Bloodsugarsexmagic was a class album but since they lost all their balls and became the worst kind of smooth rounded AOR West Coast bollocks I lost interest. Stick, 'Suck My Kiss' on and then listen to 'Californication.' Might be a different band

Still better than the Fall though.......

are they balls! and californication [the song] and scar tissue are good songs!

the rest is shat

Nah!! The last good single they had out was Higher Ground, the Stevie Wonder song. :sweet:

got to stick up for oasis. fookin great band and deserving of an outstanding contribution award as there are some great bands who wouldn't have been around if it wasn't for oasis.
as for not developing...well no they haven't but why does every band need to develop? sometimes you just want a band to rock, some of my fave artists have "developed" right up there own arses mcartney any one and what about costello's recent classical stuff!! Liam's voice was never anything other than unique, depends on your point of view if thats good or bad.

haven't followed it all recently but you take the point about il signo etc.
he's developed as an artist beyond belief but there are more misses than hits over last say 5 years? would you prefer to see him do a set containing tracks exclusively from the last 5 years or a greatest hits set a' la spin the wheel.
