The Poolie Bunker

RIP

Went to see FL about 20 year ago at Sunderland Empire he was class as he belted out a sring of his classics ... Answer Me, I Believe, High Noon, Cool Water, Blazing Saddles, Rawhide, Mule Train. Also met him after the show and signed my programme.

Guess what vinyl will be hitting the Smythe Turntable today?

When did he die????

I've been playing his CD at work today!!!!

An old bloke ask me if such and such a song was on the CD....it wasn't and then he carried on talking to his mate and asked him if he was still alive!!!!

One of my all time favourites!!!! :sweet:

A memory for me as a kid is the scorching sun and us playing outside with the songs of the likes of Frankie Laine, Johnny Cash, Slim Whitman, etc etc flowing through our houses open windows!!!!

:sweet: :sweet:

R.I.P. Mr.Laine!!!!

PS....I thought he'd already died!!!!
