If we get a good team, I will be the most bitter bar steward in the world.

Let's hope they get someone like Stoke.

But we wont get a good team because we got knocked out

Whoever they get doesnt matter because they will have a different number

Had this conversation in the pub an hour ago. Someone said "I'd be pissed off if we drew Man Utd". I said I'd be pissed off if we drew Man Utd and we were still in it! I have zero desire to see us play that bunchacoonts. Another tie like Sunderland away would've been nice though. Ah well, next year eh...

You would of loved to get Liverpool

Ah Chris you really are misremembering me on this one. I wasn't the most switched-on of kids but I realised from a very very early age that there was something fundamentally unlikeable about that lot.

Nah you were switched on, I always copied your work in History 'O' Level

It would have been the same number for us.

I think the numbers are worked out in what order the last lot of games were created eg the first 2 balls out of the bag tomorrow will be number 1 in round 4

This is where Sods Law and Murphys First Law of Football combine to piss everybody off by assuring that if we had won we'd be drawn away to Plymouth and if as we did....lose, we'd get some mouth watering tie.....I hope I'm wrong!!!! rage

p.s ...we can debate about the technicalities of the draw, ball numbers etc for ever, ....but we all know what we mean and when Macclesfield come out of the hat we'll say that should have been us.
