The Poolie Bunker

This seems to be a typical opinion from the Burnley viewpoint.........

I couldn't agree more. There wasn't a single positive to come out of this game - even my voucher's worthless!

It was a pub game. Hartlepool had two half-decent players: that quick striker and that sturdy centre-back and we still wouldn't have scored if we'd have still been playing.

Pathetic.

So maybe we still have some work to do. As our friend Dibble is saying, a win at Hereford will be a much better yardstick of how well we are going to do for the rest of this season.

it's the confidence from this win that's more important than the importance of the result i think.

their confidence and form is not my concerns, whereas ours is!!

you sure about that!!

At least Porter showed a bit of bottle to take the 2 penna's - may have been a different story at fortress Victoria. [smilie=pdt_aliboronz_30.gif]

Next one we get at the Vic I want to see him grab the ball -hoy it on the spot-put it away with no fuss-you should expect that from a centre forward.
