I dont think there is.

If we win, what will it achieve, or prove?

Burnley played a weakened side?

We played above our selves?

If we lose?

The slump deepens?
Confidence stoops to a new low?

We get through?

We play another big sides reserves, and charged the earth for it?
We draw another poor club away?

And all the time we still sit 5th bottom of dreggs of the earth division.

I am in a bad mood, by the way.

If Porters shot had gone in after 1 min it would have taken a bit of pressure off us and it may have been a different story.Same could be said of the 1st penna against Swindon.
Don't care what you say you still need the rub of the green-
Its not as if we're not creating chances-need some spark to kick it all off -if its against a weak Burnley side that'll do me! [smilie=pdt_aliboronz_30.gif]

Right you grumpy bounder.

What about treating it as a full on practice match for Willie Boland and Gary Liddle and then, when we win, Danny's found his midfield and we go on to climb the league apace??

Or is that too optimistic??

Of course there's no bloody point. It's a cup match you berk. Only league matches have points. How long have you been following footy?

We ARE in a grump aren't we?

Practice match for the new signings is a good point, can't see any purpose to it other than that, other than to put a few quid in the bank
