Every time Pools had a chance to get into the playoffs at that time, they blew it.

Look at the goals scored last season and so far this season!
How can a well paid recruitment company get away with producing a team that struggles to score when it was staring them in the face what was needed!

Fevs did the best with what he had. It is now down to Wild to do the same!

If Pete Wild has anything about him (and I feel sure that he has plenty), having watched that utter shower of shite he needs to collar Landon before he jets back to the US and more or less demand that he needs at least four or five quality players just to keep Pools in the NL. Everyone knows that there are ways and means of disposing of underperforming (and undertalented in several cases) players so let's not hear excuses of being unable fto make room in the squad. The responsibility for these should be shifted onto the disaster that is Bromby & Partners, Maxwell, Beech et al. This needs to be done ASAP, no lingering.

What pisses me off is why put Nolan on the wing when he cant run but is a tidy player and will create how ever Miley always gets the nod to play the number 10 roll but doesn't create anything scoring 8 goals in 12 games is a bit of give away really.

Our President is as world famous as Donald but just can't seem to get the same good results.

Too many of our fans like to play safe by saying we need to keep so and so as he's had a bog standard season therefore he will improve with the proper coaching but unfortunately they invariably don't, they go backwards, why is that?, it happens far too often at Pools, we really are the club who exhaust all of the promise out of players, even players who look tired at our club go on to better at others (Parkes, Crawford etc), why is that?, this club must be full of energy vampires.

We might not win another game if Hunter, Sheron and Miley are playing for us every week. Genuinely the worst midfielders I’ve ever seen play for us. Will obviously give the new manager time as he has a decent track record, but cannot see how Thornton didn’t get on today. Not even because he’s a world beater, but because the others are so bad.

Penman looked like a boy amongst men, even worse considering he’s a big lad. Looked so far out of his depth is Kougan isn’t fit next week I’d even give Darcy a run ahead of him.

Nolan looks like a fat waste of space, ditto Hugill. I hate them all, except for Harris and McNally, maybe a few of the other lads who’ve not played enough, such as the keeper as well.

Didn’t get to see or listen to the game today don’t think I missed anything looking at the score.Well at least Wild has seen first hand the task he has of saving the club.

Parkes played well for us, I’m guessing they just thought that he was old so we’ll get someone else in. Unfortunately that someone was Penman who couldn’t fit Parkes’ jock strap. Crawford was absolutely fine for us as well, not someone we should’ve been desperate to get rid of considering his replacements were Sheron and Hunter, dumb and dumber.

That was strange because after we beat Morecambe in February we were only 3 pts behind 7th.
The cheap sensible thing to do was back Fevs with 3 good signings then.
No Transfer Window.

Why not?!!

Shush. We're not allowed to talk about last season.

I said before this season started that Pools' minimum target was to finish higher than 9th place and with more than 68 points. With 12 games gone, the new target is 19th place and 48 points. And after today's shambles I'm not confident we'll achieve that.

Nobody is stopping you talking about last season, Mr H. Both me and Kev criticised Landon for missing the opportunity to at least make an attempt to have a go last season and we were right. You have to exploit your opportunities in the moment and last season we failed to at least have a go. If the attempt failed at least we would have possibly started our recruitment earlier and been better prepared for this season. We might even have avoided being saddled with the "committee"

You weren't the only ones, and I wasn't referring to a 'ban' as such. ;) Let's just say it was a minority view.

Just clearing the air, that's all.

It certainly was a minority view.

It seemed last season had been written off on arrival of our new owner in anticipation of a new season of success under a brave new team management which was greeted with a fanfare which everyone seemed to swallow…..my unease arose when Clark got the job but toed the party line out of curiosity…….then when reality quickly dawned, you anticipate a quick bit of reorganising…but the ‘cure’ was worse than the illness and everything started to go tits up in Technicolor to the point I can’t see us winning.

I once heard an old aircraft described sarcastically as 20,000 rivets flying in loose formation…well that us be were at the falling out of the sky unless we don’t act to save us.

exactly. i thought crawford was going to be the new featherstone who at that time was important in how we played. instead we got rid to keep the old feathers joined by the two you mentioned. thats if he wanted to stay with us anyway and its something we,ll never know.
