The Poolie Bunker

just wonder how long you need to be locked in a room with clark before you come out and realize he is the best football manager ever .the bloke can certainly talk and is that the reason he finds work after others sack him when they find him out.

you can add lack of spirit through the whole team. makes me wonder what they think about our leader and it looks loke quite a few just going through the motions already, we can knock featherstone and others who take over someone elses side but this mainly his team and the ones he wanted. i know this is a weakened side through injury but those playing looked clueless from the KO and could see no plan whatsoever in what they were trying to do,

That’s what I want to hear….but hard to believe surely…..?

I didn't think there was a manager that could have us playing less mind-numbing football than Feb, but we've found him. At least under Fev the players could retain the ball for sustained periods even if it was in our own half most of the time. This bloke has got more talent (on paper but yet to prove themselves on grass) available to him than Feb but is achieving less and pissing off more fans with dire tactics and awful performances.
Why in god's name is Bondo on the bench let alone the pitch at any time? Get Donaldson back and give him an opportunity. Bondo imo is an absolute waste of space.
Harris's body language says it all, he's pissed off and going through the motions. Nolan clearly is carrying an injury. Sheron's pass completion stats must be an embarrassment for a pro footballer. Miley is being dragged down to his level. Ecclestone must be brain dead with an almost identical sending off. The keeper is useless.
A talented squad is going to be fighting a relegation battle unless something changes soon.

If that X account is genuine, then Landon is being very unprofessional indeed.
It is not what I expect from an owner and I class his comments as very juvenile.

Actions speak louder than words Landon!

but we say this season after season only for the team to go on a little run to get just inside the top half of the season and finish a single place above where they previously finished. is this squad as talented as we thought or has the heart for the battle. they looked nowt special last night but on one game you would be hard pushed for any of our plastic super stars to get in there starting 11.

it's not in a million years genuine People born and raised in Minnesota don't say "y'all.' The guy responsible for this piss take must be a Dolly Parton fan Probably a Halifax supporter..

Genuine

It was just god awful from start to finish! One player i feel gets away with criticism is miley. He was absolutely hopeless last night, couldn't pass 5 yards, set pieces are crap, lightweight and never gets stuck in. He, like the rest need to be doing a lot lot more.

Not from me. I’ve been saying he does nothing for a little while now. At least Sheron smashes into people now and then. I think people just say Miley is a good footballer because he came from Newcastle and is brother is actually good. He’s cack. Lightweight, not a good dribbler, passer, tackler, goal scorer, anything. But has been a mainstay basically since he signed for some reason.

There is no plan, no strategy, more like kids football were they run about a lot but get nowhere.
I see no organisation on the pitch just wishful punting of the ball and absolutely dire defending.
Passing is tits tap and getting nowhere, but worst of all there’s no thing to get mildly excited about, just a team who haven’t got a clue and losing their will to live, let alone play.
This is serious, to see such a crash on take off of a season is beyond acceptable, we’re condemning ourselves to another season in this league and it’s only September.

What worries me is we might end up in a similar position to Scunthorpe a few years ago, where they threw money at this league with Callum Roberts and the like, and made a right dogs cock of it ended up in national league north.
I definitely think there is a decision to be made very shortly by Landon.

If things on the pitch don’t shape up significantly we’ll be condemning ourselves to NLN

Before the we used to blame Singh for some of the decisions at Pools, who does the blame lie with this time, Smith, Bromby, Clark ?

As long as we have got an identity everything will be fine lol. Clark should go with immediate effect. At least Fevs knew the league, the club and the limitations of the players. Maynard in for Wed please.

All of them but ultimately the person in charge.

IF and it is a big IF that Landon Smith account is genuine, it seems Clark's days as a Pools manager are numbered. When we lose at Alty I reckon he may well be on his bike and lose we most certainly will.

As mentioned earlier, despite 3 wins, we have not convincingly out played any opponents so far. This suggests to me that there is a complete absence of a winning style, organisation or plan. Most opponents appear fitter, better organised and basicliy keener.
If as we are led to believe, we have a better squad than last season, it must be down to the manager that we look like a team that will struggle in the lower reaches of the NL. Feather's teams may not have entertained but made it hard fot the opposition whereas the current team look to be there for the taking.

If Landon decided to communicate personally to us fans or even the public in general and then came out and stated that he would only communicate through the club's official site and nowhere else, that would eliminate all the speculation about whether the current communications are his or not. It's quite simple really.

Rumours on what's app Graeme Lee to replace Clarky.

Just passing on the info!

Same manager at Alty will result in a Deffo none win.

His interviews are getting more and more Hartley/Sarll like as the weeks go on.

The Twitter account clearly isn’t Landon, I thought that would have been pretty obvious.

Yes it was a very big IF

We are 3 points from a playoff place and 3 pointsa from a relegatiopn spot. No credits for guessing which way we are heading!

The mighty Woking lifted themselves out of a relegation spot with a 5-1 win over Altrincham.

What can we expect from Pools next Wednesday against Altrincham?

If we let altrincham climb over us on Wednesday the noose is around his neck, has to be. If we then let Worthing climb over us on Saturday he has to be gone, surely.

Well, I am not expecting three points.

I’ll be watching out of curiosity, hope and expectation won’t even figure, what’s the point.

if we bore both to death with one nil wins does that mean he,ll get the vote of confidence from everybody. we still have to watch the shite on offer. even if it is succesdul in points you can count me out. i have bought a ticket for worthing or whatever south coast seaside resort we are playing but cannot be arsed travelling all that way to look at the clock ticking down.

Alty got dicked 5 1 yesterday
And we were totally abysmal.

Both teams you would of thought will have to Respond on Wednesday night.

2 2 then.

Call me a cynic Kev, but our glorious leader is fully capable of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and selling it as a positive….and probably blame social media as the problem.
I’m so looking forward to watching Wednesday night to check what my own eyes have been telling me and see if I need an eye test which was A1 when I got my eyes tested two weeks ago.
I’ve never known fans become so disillusioned so quickly from such a high point of expectation and the master planner of this still thinks every thing is going to plan.
Oh dear. we have the perfect recipe for another drab season of nothingness.

Video of Hampson doing sprints on X, could he be on the bench on Wednesday and is he the answer Pools midfield problem ?

I had a look Jamie and that's Luke Charman doing the sprints.

Good to see that he's on the way back too.

If we're relying on Charman to come & solve all of our midfield problems, then we really are in a lot of trouble!!

In the comments it said it was Hampson, my mistake if it’s Charman.

does not really matter which one it is the thought of em sprinting gives me the dread of something else going wrong in their frail bodies.

Has anyone said we were? What some of us like about Charman is that's he's a real competitor who fights for every ball - till his next injury, more often than not

After the way the team rolled over and accepted defeat last Saturday, a bit of tenacity wouldn't go amiss.

Im on the way to Heathrow then Thailand so will pick up the match later. im travelling on qatar airlines and got wifi but guess wont be quick enough to stream live . Probably a blessing in disguise

Add in a bit of effort and pride and never say die attitude.

The first 20 minutes of tonight's game will give us a rough guide to whether they are interested in turning this bad spell around.

UTP

charman because of his attitude deserves a bit of luck and success in the game. the complete opposite to some of the wage thieves we have had in the past and possibly in the present squad.

The effort levels are a major improvement from Friday.

1-0 to Altrincham. A pen. We have had chances but as usual it goes tits up.

1-1 at HT. Can we finish with 11 on the pitch? If so we might pinch a win!

1-1 Miley header still not looking great lot more effort but little end product

we got one back but it showed the lack of confidence when nobody wanred to shoot and rather pass the ball. better than friday but it had to be really.

Oh well down to 10 men again Hunter stupid pull of shirt ne need this is piss poor again

Must say I would have had Hunter off at HT as there was a good chance he would have some rough contacts!

Crawford looking like bloody Frank Lampard there. Shame how much we’ve fell apart in the second half.

Crawford 2-1 goodbye Mr Clark
