The mainstream media are hinting that these so called 'wild fires' are all spontaneous happenings caused by global warming. This is bollocks of course. Mother Nature starts fires in two ways and two ways only: lightning strike and volcano eruption. So all these fires in the news are caused by either total lackwits who are basically so careless with their fag ends and/or fireworks they shouldnt be allowed out doors and evil bastards who think it is funny to cause devastation on a massive scale. I just wish the media would be more honest. You know, at the end of some bulletin on a massive 'wild fire' they should finish the story with 'police are investigating the cause'.

All part of the master plan to tax us more and restrict our freedoms. Apparently Burnham has now banned the sale of disposable barbecues based in the fact that they might have been responsible for some of these wildfires - how many Andy? How many started by cigarettes - ban em? Camping stoves - ban em?
The weather forecasters yesterday was telling us that come 2056 it's going to be over 40C every summer - these feckers can't usually predict if it's going to rain the next day?
They're keeping very quiet about this being a "Super El Nino" year with high temperatures expected due to this phenomenon.
The MSM are intent o catastrophising everything, Fecking sick of hearing the sea level is rising due to the melting ice caps and many coastal towns are going to disappear, WW3 is going to happen tomorrow, etc etc

This is feck all compared to 76…….it serves their purpose to promote their agenda…they’re the new inquisition….tell em they’re wrong and they have a hissy fit..

Sat out in the back garden when the wife’s phone went off, Ratboy started howling and she spilt her drink…my phone was dead as a Dodo….

just heard a minute ago that the super el nino has nothing to do with our temperatures in summer but could cause a colder winter. the problem is we ger all our information from the same sources with the only experts being the ones who are paid for the research. spend a life in the public eye but do not follow the party line you,ll become another david bellamy. we all remember him but never heard from him years begore he died i 2019. does make you wonder as well why we are paying for all this green stuff as years and years of reducing emissions does not seem to be working.

This about turn over the effect of Super El Nino is typical though, at the start of the year the people who are telling us it's going to give us colder winters were saying 6 months ago that well get warmer summers.
They're intent on ignoring natural weather phenomenon and impact blaming any and all change on the UKs carbon emissions.
I'm not sure how warming and shifting of the Jet Stream doesn't result in a warmer summer. They were telling us a couple of weeks ago that sea temperatures were up about 2 degrees C bringing different species of Marine life!
The scare mongering narrative isn't even consistent.

Burnham is now talking of aircraft for fighting fires….they ain’t cheap and a number would be needed especially in a country that despite the hype is not known for wild fires….now that’s a knee jerk reply on turbo…..believe it when it actually occurs.

with all these fires it does look good when the PM is called BURN EM.

do you remember the ozone level around the planet. what happened about that, did the gap seal itself up. its a situation we are in thats akin to the person who claims they are sick all the time even when they are not. one day they actually are and nobody believes them. we have reached that stage when weather and the climate is mentioned. wonder how weather was forcasted 100 years back and the reasons if any they used for it.

There was a couple of fires amongst conifers and the beach banks near me on Wednesday dealt with by the fire brigade, I drove past while happening and saw some young lads hiding in the bushes and long grass close by and thought yeah there's the culprits, some kids just get a kick out of stuff like that unfortunately.

yes, and more time its spent on the news the more these type of kids will do it and get bigger kicks. its called copycat behaviour which is never the goof thats copied.

Used to happen when we were kids in the cornfields once they’d been cut, always some kids would set one off.
That said it was always the same kids who were pyromaniacs….we knew the ‘consequences’ for doing anything like that off the old feller.

I wonder if they became climate warriors and changed their ways…somehow I doubt it.

I recall a couple of fires at the prop fields in Seaton when I was a lad in the 70s I didnt start them by the way. Local yobs having a laugh I expect.

Reportedly there's now been appeals from some Fire Brigades for the public to stop calling to report their neighbours having a barbecue in the garden. And loads of people have turned off the National Alerts on their devices.

Heavens above..It's bloody raining!! At last it's finally arrived, praise the lord.

and in a few months time there will be a thread about floods.
