FFS - They're going to be insufferable - Even more reason for me to avoid (Mc) Corby in the coming weeks.
The're Ketrin's, equivalent of Peterlee - only full of sweaties

Plastic Jocks whose forefathers agreed with Doctor Johnson's advice: 'The noblest prospect which a Scotchman ever sees, is the high road that leads him to England!'
They'd vote for the SNP if it was on the Corby polling card

i,d guess the majority who live in corby now will be born locally with at leat one parent with no scottish ancestry. however they will still see themselves as scots and not english or mixed race. same with the majority of non white males. seems odd that lasses the sme could not car less.

They add quite a lot to the atmosphere of any tournament they (somewhat rarely) manage to get in to but are scarcely associated with scintillating football, a bit like the premiership at times.
Apparently the advice currently being given to residents of Boston is don't even try to drink a Scot under the table.
Boston is steadily being drunk dry.
They certainly know how to make a racket.

The Scots are bitter towards us. I’ve seen it numerous times in my travels up there. Love and support should be a two way thing. FUCKEM.

I worked in Corby a few years ago, the storeman had a Scottish accent, I asked him what part of Scotland did he come from, answer, he had never lived in Scotland !

The thing is Mr Hogan's, they actually would!
I remember when they had the Scotch Independence Referendum back in 2014- loads of them were properly pissed off that they weren't allowed to vote! Which was kind of ironic as a vast majority have never left Northants, let alone been over the Border.
My two pronged standard response was firstly- if it's that good, why you still here, Fuck off!
Secondly, I also wanted to vote the ungrateful fuckers OUT!

Germany v Curacao Who knows there is a country called Curacao and where it is?

Population circa 185,000 so they can hardly have professional football leagues so how have they got to a World Cup Finals?

I read somewhere that approximately 95% of their squad weren't born in Curacao.

They aren't even the lowest ranked team, that honur belongs to New Zealand

I was in Perth at the time of the referendum and you could feel the atmosphere, but I don’t judge the Scots by the actions of the chest beating Scottish fundamentalist minority, which is pure chip on the shoulder self pity.

me and her in the kitchen were pissed off also because we wanted to vote to give em independence and get em off our backs for good. she knows scotland like the back of her hand and says they love the english money but not the english themselves. thought the krankies were crap as well and most of the other proffesional scotsmen there have been in the entertainment industry.

Out of curiosity, I watched the Germany v Curaçao game.

It's allowing spectators more time to buy Duff beer and consume more fatty foods.

or the ads are still being shown in some country in the world so they do not want to upset the tv companies that are running the show.

It’s come under a lot of criticism as teams are using it for coaching sessions, one of the tv punters said they should drag a couple of crates of what ever on to the pitch and not allow the managers to encroach.
Whats was wrong with the old method bottles available on the touchline and as when players could grab a drink during a break in play.

It’s allowing the Yanks to make more advertising income, but FIFA should not have allowed such a blatant misuse of the rules to begin with.

Infantino :romance-heart: Trump.

Two narcissistic individuals working hard to make themselves the centre of attention and in the process spoil the World Cup.

Look out for more last minute rule changes to appease Trump.

For instance Trump handing over the trophy then ingratiating himself into all the photos.

In the Qatar World Cup FIFA made £8 billion in this one £13 billion albeit there are more teams and by all accounts going to increase the number of teams for 2030. It’s going involve a load of travelling, the 2030 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted across six countries on three continents: Morocco, Portugal, and Spain as the primary hosts, with Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay hosting the opening centenary matches to celebrate the tournament's 100th anniversary

Agree, Beckham got sent off for less than that. Two tier refereeing.

its always been the same. lower down the league you go there was always a bigger chance of being sent off. norman hunter, chopper harris and co would hardly have played a game if they played for pools or darlo back in the day. send off a so called star can be a kiss of death for a referee now and in the past.

Not sure it was 2 tier refereeing but in the Scotland v Morocco game, I only watched the highlights a couple of decisions went against the jocks, one I thought was a penalty when McGynn got tackled in the box and the other when the Scotland player was running clear albeit quite a distance from goal and got hauled down, only a yellow.Reading reports Morocco were the far superior team though and the jocks fortunate to keep the score at 1-0.

God that was awful to watch, not helped by the actual quality of the filming……
I tried, God knows I tried, but watching that was dire…but the call of the duvet was irresistible in the end.
Even Ratboy kept yawning, and yawning becomes addictive.

Not sure it was 2 tier refereeing but in the Scotland v Morocco game, I only watched the highlights a couple of decisions went against the jocks, one I thought was a penalty when McGynn got tackled in the box and the other when the Scotland player was running clear albeit quite a distance from goal and got hauled down, only a yellow.Reading reports Morocco were the far superior team though and the jocks fortunate to keep the score at 1-0.

don,t find excuses for them. they have spent a lifetime doing it and telling the world how hard done by they are.

Looking for opinions on the refs decision not a slagging off of the jocks, I worked in Scotland for years onshore and offshore and I am well aware how they feel about the English, the ones they disliked the most were the Geordies for some reason.
