Like I said last week the New Manager has fell on his feet big style.
Gunna be fully his team.
He has the option to play or not play the 3 lads who are under contract.

I fully expect a top 7 place or Bromby n Co. Ain't doing there jobs of Employment.

We all see it different and should be no shit crack to different views.

my only worry is longer it takes to announce a new manager there is the possibility the club has been turned down by the ones high on there wish list. it was days between stockport sacking one manager and appointing there first choice to the job in challinor.

"it was days between stockport sacking one manager and appointing there first choice to the job in challinor”

Those talks could have been going on for weeks. NSD

Challinor was publicly happy with his new contract at Pools, the next he was away and his wife was posting stuff about how shit the club was. He'd definitely been tapped by Stockport. To be fair we'd all like to be in their situation where we're doing the tapping rather than being the victims.

Actually I would love to look at the bigger picture but it hasn't been painted yet, apart from a couple of brush strokes.
I'm not really interested in last year compared with this year, I am interested in turning next season into a more successful season than the one just finished. Presently that is a sincere hope, cos that is all I've got.
At the moment we have no manager and three contracted players. That is the fact of the matter. A long way to go is an out and out fact. A lot of work to do is an out and out fact.
I'll just stick to the facts whilst I wait and see.

Surely there's got to be a new manager announcement by the end of this week? It's already been 3 weeks since Featherstone was told it wouldn't be him.

Anyway, the early bird deadline for season tickets isn't till 1st June so if the club feel thay can afford to take their time over preparations for the new season, so can I ;)

Alright Derwent- we've got no manager and 3 players, will clearly have to resort to a rush keeper- we're doomed! How can we only have 3 players and no one to tell them what to do? Doomed!

You keep your money in your pocket and continue to call out Landon- I mean it's just shocking that in the first week of May we can't even field a five a side. This wouldn't have happened on Raj's watch!

Were you one of the 63% Derwent?
Serious question - just asking for a friend, like!

Here's another serious question, if Raj was still in charge would you still be happy and encouraging people to rush out and buy STs with no manager and only 3 contracted players?
I suspect Raj would be getting belters had that been the case. I don't see anyone calling out LS but there's a fair bit of understandable impatience but optimism around with the present situation.

I was thinking the same Scenario.

I reckon the strange attitude to nothing happening should stay in the Classroom.

Actually my friend we are in a position were we have no manager and only three contracted players. You obviously have a problem with that fact being stated.
I have not asked anybody to resort to a rush keeper so you've got me mixed up with someone else. I don't think we're doomed either but you can think we are if you so wish and you must be thinking so , you've said it twice. Personally saying we're doomed is a bit OTT, if I may say so but hey, you can see it how you like and surprise surprise, so can I.
Thanks for letting me choose to keep my money in my pocket, very kind of you. Is stating fact calling Landon out. I am not in any position to call anybody out nor do I wish to do so. You appear to think he is somebody not to be questioned, I haven't got there yet but if or when I do I'll let you know.
I don't think anything is shocking to not be able to field a five a side but once again if you think it is shocking then you are free to think that. However can I gently remind you that five a side is not our game, can I whisper it is eleven a side. LOL.
Tell your friend that no I wasn't one of the 63%.
I can assure you that the chairman will get my full approval when I think he has earned it.
I consider that to be a sensible approach whether you agree or not.

You got it right with your first sentence. They DO have something to report, unlike the Fail. There's jack shit on the OS and HUFC Twitter account too.

Good news Derwent- We now have officially MORE than 3 players
Reckon we're up to TEN- almost a team. Though will still need to play rush keeper, as things stand! ;)

I don't think anybody expected us to start the campaign with three!!!!!
However breaking the "Good News" down. We have seven committed and three under offer. Of those seven committed three are youngsters, so the at the moment reality shows we have four committed experienced players.
It's a start but what follows is the crucial part. Who can we attract in.
Continuously during the last season I raised the lack of strength in depth within our squad. I'm hoping that scenario will be rectified.
We'll see.

Chill out……fretting won’t change anything, they appear to have their plan, let’s see how it goes…..with Raj we got a manager from the freezer every season and they always seemed to fade like a Pound shop battery and be gone…..,,I find the contrast not disturbing at all.

That is good advice and I second it. That is my stance. I am waiting and seeing and forming my opinions on what is happening. I'm not getting carried away. Instead I'm taking everything as it happens. Maybe this and maybe that is all well and good but for every maybe there is usually a maybe not.
