I don't - you cheeky monkey! That's just some Fugly that inadvertently photo bombed me at Ketrin Station!
First time I've posted a pic on here - couldn't work out how to rotate it, once I'd posted it.
Have to say the Pools lads did the town proud.
We were really unlucky. Their team were typical Scouse whingers- the play acting and feigning injury at every given opportunity was quite frankly embarrassing.
0-0 at Half time after a fairly even first half
Second half they scored from a set piece after about 52 mins.
We then had our centre half and skipper harshly sent off after some shithousery from them- probably a booking but NEVER a straight red.
Minutes later the game was temporarily suspended due to crowd trouble.
This had been whipped up by an arsehole in THEIR dugout, who was giving the Pools fans the middle finger and gesticulating 'come on' and generally taking the piss. This in turn whipped up a few Pools fans to re-address the balance with some of the Scouse support with the main stand being loosely segregated- was handbags at best. The game was stopped and the players taken off until it all calmed down.(eh, eh, calm down, calm down!)
Pools came back out for the last 25 minutes, and played well given they were a man down. Just when it looked like we'd run out of steam- the ball broke in the box, (in about the third minute of time added on) and one of our lads lashed it home. A great finish and all hell broke loose amongst the Poolies- Limbs everywhere!
Shortly afterwards, ref blew for full time and it went straight to penalties- losing 3-1.
Bit of lottery as ever - no disgrace losing on spot kicks -but to a man, we were excellent and they deservedly got a great ovation at the end from the travelling masses.
Brilliant turn out of Poolies - reckon must have been at least 700+ in attendance- an outstanding effort
My favourite chant of the day was 'You're just a Shit B&M! '
