Probably in decline for the last few years.
But Saturdays with Bob Wilson hosting Football Focus will be something I will always remember.

Football Focus was compulsory viewing until the BBC decided to make it more suitable for 'the modern audience' which made it unwatchable. Alex Scott is a talent free zone that the BBC seem determined to make a star .

I was listening to Man City v Arsenal on Radio 5 the other day and the commentator said "read our internet site for live coverage of this game with 3 writers". They are supposedly scrapping 10% of workers but there is a good way to get rid of 66%. How much overkill is there at the BBC.

The BBC is irrelevant now and it was all self inflicted, they scattered their audience to appease their own preferences.

Football programs are too in depth now with presenters going to the far end of a fart what went wrong or right with the tactics.
Cloughie said in an interview he used to enjoy watching MOD on a Saturday night but he said it was spoiled by all the football analysts.

bigger problem is that its reached the stands and terraces at grounds now not to forget football messageboards.

Saw one pundit the other night with his screen covered in lines and symbols…looked like the screens on a guided missile destroyer tracking movements…what utter tosh they throw our way.
